Aoa, as mentioned, I'm experiencing high pings in Rainbow Six Siege in regions I should have lesser ping e.g I get 220ms on SEA and 220-250ms ON EU, whereas in games like CSGO I get 90-100ms on SEA servers. Friends of mine using PTCL get 110-130ms on SEA. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

the problem of pings is which every one is facing here and it might not be solved so we could not get less then 100ms to play fps and 3ps online....
so prefer playing sort of strategy games like age of empires or world of warcraft...

Yeah I've forced my server to SEAS, still get 220 on that region on Nayatel, while my friends using PTCL get around 110-130ms
How did you change this?? Are you on PC or console?? By the way i am also getting 120ms on Seas on ps4. whenever i got connected to WEU, i restart my modem 3 or 4 times to change the server to SEAS.

Im on the PC. You can change it by editing the GameSettings configuration file.

Bro forcing the server to connect on SEAS through config file doesn't change your ping because in actual you are connected on European IP. IN order to move to SEAS you need to restart your modem again and again. Once it connects on SEAS randomly, only them you ll be able to get a ping between 100-120 MS. That's what I do nowadays.

Thats interesting. Any confirmation though? As the datacenter does show SEAS and my friends in my lobby using PTCL get 100-110 while I'm stuck with 220 :3

I would very much like a solution to this as well . Seas shows a ping of 103 while when in a match I get in excess of 200

I am having the same issue from 3 days after operation chimera. I used to get 120MS on seas having external ip starting from 119.xxx.xx.xxx but now its more than 230ms. Don;t know whether it's my internet or the game issue?????????????
