Assalam walaikum

I need to build a gaming rig in a budget of 130k to 135k. I am planning on getting a GTX 1060 6gb which costs about 37k from czone. I also need to buy an LED screen and SSD is a must.

Please give your recommendations as to what parts I should buy as I am new to this stuff.

Thanks. :)

i5 6600k 27k
Asus B150 pro gaming motherboard 12k
Corsair vengeance LPX 16 gb kit 13k
1060 6gb 37k
Thermaltake TR2 700W Gold 80 PLUS Gold psu (You can get something cheaper too but this PSU gives you ample room if you want to upgrade to a new graphics card or an i7 a couple of years from now) 10k
Corsair force LE 240 or 120 gb (up to you) as boot drive 5k - 8k
1 tb sata HDD 5k
Casing in 10k Thermaltake versa or corsair carbide
Now all this comes to around 120k
You can get a 1080p LED 24 inch in roughly 18-22k
I know that we're going over budget by 10k almost. But you can always get a cheaper motherboard, psu, get 8 gb of ram instead of 16. But this build will easily last you a long time and will look and perform great too.

Thanks man I really appreciate the detailed reply. Also, as an alternative, I can get a Inspiron 7559 which costs about 100k and has a GTX 960M. What do you think about this laptop from gamer's perspective?

DO NOT GET A GAMING LAPTOP IF YOU CAN GET A WORK LAPTOP AND A GAMING PC.
I had to write it in all caps just so everyone gets it. Gaming laptops cannot replace a desktop.

Thanks for your suggestions guys. I think I will buy a gaming pc for now and then get a decent work laptop later when I need it. For now my wife's laptop will do just fine. :p

Do you plan on overclocking the processor? if yes then get the k version of i5 and the Z170 Motherboard, if not then get the non k version of the processor and the motherboard i suggested.

Not planning to overclock now but may need to in the future in case CPU bottlenecks the GPU. I can get the K version but Z170 will take me way over budget as we are already over by about 10k. I need to save some money for a keyboard/mouse and LED. Speaking of which, which LED would you suggest in 20k?

This bottle neck u speak off , wat type of games are u planning on playing and if your getting 1060 u wont b bottlenecked and u wll have a longer life of ur components wid not overclocking your CPU, and bottleneck will take few years , till then ur dreams wll b rusted of gaming pc :p.

One Thing i must clarify to u, No matter u get 4x Titans u will never be satisfied that is pc gamers Life (The Truth). Because you know even better than somthing is out and u want it.

i5 wont bottleneck even a 1070. So I think you're good. Stick with the non overclocking motherboard then.
At 1080p led you should look for a minimum of 4 ms response time. I have no idea. I have a vs248h from asus. 1080p

Thanks for all the help man. I already booked the said parts, will pick them up on Saturday in sha' Allah... :) ... Just need to decide on the LED. This one looks promising: LCD & LED Monitors - BenQ GL2460HM 24 WideScreen LED Monitor in Pakistan for Rs.18500.00 | Computer Zone. The only con is a single HDMI port.

hey don't worry. The memory speeds don't make much of a difference during real world tasks like gaming, browsing, watching movies etc
I'm using 1600 ddr3. Anything above 1600 DDR4 has negligible impact on gaming.

And that 3000 mHz memory will only work at 3000 if you use XMP to overclock it and that requires a z170 motherboard. And that memory kit looks nice too. I have the ADATA 1600 8gb single slot lol. it's all green and black hahaha
