Video demo
Hi guys,

I have Cooler Master Hyper T200 for my Ryzen 5 3600. Mobo is Gigabyte B450 Gaming X. It works fine when I boot up the PC, but when I increase the load on CPU, the fan speed increases (as expected) but (I think) the fan creates a weird vibrating noise. See the youtube video linked above. I'm pretty sure the sound comes from the fan and not the heatsink, because when I put a finger on fan cover, it absorbs the vibrations and the sound disappears.

Is there something I can do to fix it, or do I need to take it to the shop? Let me know.

Regards,

In your case the possible solution are.
1. Open and lube the fan bearing. (Only if u are into such stuff cause its PIA)
2. Replace the fan with AVC/Delta (These are A+ fans better than 95% of the big brands out there, These can be found easily in computer markets as are widely used in servers/branded builds but make sure can change fan curve as these are high rpm fans)
3. Use a ghetto mod, make pads from balloon and place them between the area where the plastic bracket of fan and heatsink touch each other. It will damp the vibration.

A lil extra

The low tier fans have imbalance propeller which leads to vibration at higher speed or can be even at lower speed. The vibration is transferred from the fan to the heatsink and the noise is amplified. In case of cooler master they mostly use plastic bracket that holds the fan on cooler and the contact area of bracket and cooler is huge.
Now mostly coolers use a very thin metal braces kind of thing that reduces this issue a lot.
