HELP: Broadband in Rawalpindi!?

Hi guys, I haven't posted here in years but I did check the rules and don't think this post violates any. If it does, apologies in advance!

Anyway, I've had an 8mbps PTCL connection in Rawalpindi (Westridge area) for a number of years now (and it's unlimited). Unfortunately, PTCL are horrendous when it comes to customer service and I'm having to complain for one thing or the other almost every month. I was lucky enough for a while to grab a hold of some local officials who used to help me out privately but now that they're gone, it's back to square one with the call center.

I am now seriously considering switching over to a different provider but I keep running into roadblocks because none of them seem to offer the speed I want on broadband, and most importantly, companies like Nayatel have no concept of "unlimited downloads." I am coming to you with hope that you'll recommend an alternative to PTCL for me which goes up to 12mbps AND offers unlimited downloads. I don't need phone line or digital TV (those are the only two things PTCL is good for anymore). I just need alternate internet that allows me to play games online on PS4 (Overwatch, CoD etc) and lets me have unlimited downloads at 8mbps or above.

Well there are few other providers but I can't tell anything about them as I myself is using PTCL**

Yep. Looks like I'm stuck with PTCL because all the fiber/high speed service providers have limited their services to Karachi and Lahore. No mention of Rawalpindi/Islamabad anywhere. Nayatel seems to be the only other option but they don't offer anything above 7mbps (I'm already on 8) and only offer "unlimited downloads" during certain time frames (I currently have unlimited round the clock). This explains why PTCL has such a monopoly here. They know they have zero competition and they get away with offering crappy services. I've literally been told that I can't go above 8mbps because PTCL doesn't have the infrastructure installed to handled higher speeds in my area. And I actually live in a good neighborhood so I can only imagine what people in other areas of Rawalpindi go through. Sigh.
