I can understand the amount of time and effort to achieve something, the good thing is that you are 17, so you have plenty of time to learn before entering the real world and realize may be I should goto .net, databases, webdevelopment if I want to land a job in Pakistan.
Assuming theres no future for GameDevelopment in Pakistan, how do you feel about your future? Which studies? job?
Im a self-learned programmer since I was 15. I did ICS and went to join BCS but instead finally did B.com, but still managed to keep my knowledge increasing and never lost interest in mainstream game programming.
But finally I have to face a dilemma, im going to do MBA but dont want to lose interest in game development since my skills are way ahead now.
May be I manage to do some commercial work on my own in future.

It really pisses me off when these so called Software Engineers make fool of non-technical people. Just having a first galance at the interview, I can see how they manipulate every thing in their favour.
Tell us a little but about the design and implementation process behind the design of this game?
We used an iterative and incremental model. We organized the development into a series of short, fixed-length targets, at which point we tested our short-term work product and integrated it with the previous executables. Our iterative lifecycle was based on the successive enlargements and refinements, and using cyclic feedback, we converged upon a suitable system in a period of a little more than 4 months. Now that we have a reference point, we can go for proper larger development cycles in future versions.
4 MONTHS WITH FPS CREATOR ???????? Wt? they were doing for 4 months with FPS Creator?
"Iterative/Incremental Development/ cyclic feedback", slaping SoftwareEngineering terms they learned from books doesnt make a good software engineer.
Like many Pakistanis, these people wants Shortcuts & Magical tools which require No Use of Brain & Effort. Not only that they are Shamlessly Overconfident. There is not place for lazy people who avoid hardwork in gamedevelopment.

Well, i normally dont rant like that.... I really respect people who may not have high GP, degree, confidence, iq but they are Passionate, Hardworking, Humble and have a confidence no higher than their real abilities and against all odds push their selves to the limits.
. Keep increasing your knowledge & experience, hope for better future. But a piece of advice, have a "BackUp" plan. Even in western countries a good Database programmer makes more $$$ than a good game programmer :frown: . Good luck for ur future.
