HDMI COMPATIBLE lcd ,gpu.

Assalam o leyqum .

so i came to know that benq ldies arent available at galaxy.
the cheapest of them with a hdmi port was BenQ FP94VW for about 15k or so rupees.
looking for pgiers advice on it should i go for it and is it available in khi .
any comments .

gpu which one to go for which is the cheapest available with a dvi to hdmi converter .
ati or nvidia ?model?

no need to change the motherboard rite i have a p5kvm ?
second i will be needing a hdmi cable for it could u allz decide which one is
good with a decent speed rate and should be of good quality.

Firstly whats your budget?

Im no expert though and im buying an LCD too in the near future hopefully for my PS3. Anyway you must buy an LCD which is HDCP complaint and has a DVI port. HDMI port is not necessary. If your LCD doesnt have an HDMI port you can simply use a HDMI to DVI converter.

The BENQ LCD you're mentioning is pretty good. My friend has it.. Its one of the cheapest and its definitely one of the best LCD in the 15,000 range i would say.. But i cant find it in karachi.. I searched for it, Galaxy doesnt have it and i asked a few other shops and i cant seem to find it.

hey i bought acer 20inch lcd for 15000.
even though it doest have hdmi. its native res is 1680x1050.
i am quite happy with it.

u mean it doesnt matter which card it is ,it just need a compatible dvi to hdmi converter and a hdmi cable to fit in a hdmi slot lcd ?
some cards come wid hdmi !

hdmi to dvi converter meaning one converter for the card or a compatible hdmi gpu .second a hdmi to dvi converter for the lcd . thirdly a hdmi cable.
is this setup worth it .
mostly people buy a dvi port lcd obviously .hdmi for extra fun.
shit i knew it was a hot dam cheap lcd .sadly its a deactivated item at newegg .neither avail at the main site of benq could be discontinued what a shame .where did u search at uni center ? any other places u want me to find what about regal.

I dont know about the actual LCD's you posted but Samsung's LCD's are of very good quality and they look good too. I'd definitely favor the Samsung Lcd you posted.

Its 16500rs at Galaxy and its 2ms response time 19inch LCD. I think this samsung LCD is better then the one you posted.

If you find the Benq FP94VW LCD in karachi please do inform me bro because im also intrested in buying that LCD but i think its discontinued or something. I havent tried Uni center.. So if you go there then do find out about the LCD and tell me if its availible there new or second hand. I didnt search alot for this LCD but did ask a few good shops, none had them. They had it a few months back though.. should've bought it then..
