Someone please recommend a good gym in Rawalpindi/Islamabad
I'd highly suggest any gym which is closest to you. As there's none for me, I ordered some machines to build a gym at my home.

You don't wanna drive away just to workout daily as it'll become hectic, just my thoughts. Good luck though. :)

I'm looking to join for a month only, before my university starts. I don't know anything about exercising and what would be the best exercise for me...

Which area are you from? I can hook you up with a professional bodybuilder who will write down your plan from the core and all and he charges pet session and he's in Islamabad and his charges are pretty fair too, PM me for that.

I'm in Bahria Town so I'll be going to meet him with my own plan and starting within a week as well and then I can do the rest at home as he'll tell me what to do and all. Also I like to Google so I do know a bit here and there but still would like professional opinion.

But in Bahria Town they have this gym at The Spa in Phase 4 and there they also have trainers, that gym is well equipped with machines and proper staff so you can check that out too. It's about an hr drive for me to go and come back from that gym that's why I'm not joining it as I'm in Phase 8.

btw whats that certificate? how to keep an eye on competitions around us?

That second guy won Gold medal in National Junior Championship (80kg+ ) ... he is just 20 years of age. Competition was held in lahore wapda sports complex.

You want to participate in competitons :) ? i can guide u about the upcoming events of official federation.

well i had no plan as fitness is just my hobby lol :p
but few days ago a person here on this thread asked me that i compete? i said i have no interest but now i am thinking that why dont give it a try :D i am actually in fsd so dont know anything about competitions if there is any or in other cities coz here there is no trend about it :/

so i am thinking to train myself more to enter in the lowest level competition to see the world of bodybuilders :p , bcz here i never met anyone who is serious about it , they just go gym bcz they say we want to go bigger but they train themselves dumb :/ so i wanna see and meet serious peoples in this field , well my mass is right now not enough but if you can guide me if there is any competition in which beginners or ....... hmmmmm you can say noob levels builders compete then i will see the builders there to train myself accordingly :D

hmmm...you are novice in the competition field ... at the current stage u can participate in gym competitions or junior competition of your tehsil/district level of ur city.
Anyhow i want to see the level of your body muscles...if u can show your body pics ....then i could might guide you well.

well i can share my pics but i feel awkward i mean :p i am way behind than you, and one more question? what you guys do with your bodies? i mean i've hairs , so dont you have any?

and arsalan what is your mass now? and age etc? how you can say that you just have to lose only 10kg ? and quickest? its depends on your body nature, size and blah blah blah..... all you need is not losing hope bcz it will take sometime so just dont only do swimming , you may also start with squats , push ups and crunches , running , jumping etc along , so you may lose fast but take care of your diet to and you will be fine :)

and syavash try to find a gym near you , better enviroments will ofc demand more money that only few can afford, well yes i can understand that no good machines is a bad deal for users ,

and if you only wanna join for a month then find someone who has a link with the gym you want to join , he would try to let them discount for you , here most of us do the same , i mean we just ask our friends that we wanna join and if you know anyone let them have some discount and you know that how things work in pakistan lol ,
Hey man thanks for replying. I'm 19 years old and i'm about 5'10 or 5'9 i'll confirm you on that the next time I reply haha. My story kinda goes like I was very fat too fat to even run then one day I was just standing while playing football and I kicked the ball and it went in the goal. After that magical moment haha I lost like 10-15kg. After coming in Alevels I was out of the so called FAT people group. Like you know how people in Karachi say oo mota yes I was the oo mota but now i'm not. Even though I still look back but its never me now and I don't come in the fat category many people like my built (I don't go to the gym nor do I lift any type of weight). The only way I know how to lose weight is play shit loads of football everyday but I could play alot when I was a kid but not now I have exams responsibilities and very less time. So yes I wanted to know what should I do because i'm still okay like my weight was 76 before ramazan but now it's 79. I always wanted to be 68 and then go to the gym and make abs and a good body. So yes is there any advice you could be me to lose 10kgs so I can come to 68? And i'm very determined. I know how it's like being fat and trust me I don't want to go there again hahah not like being fat things is a bad thing just clearing it out.

i use trimmer one day before competition...some people use razer....

and share pics....dont feel awkward.... :)

and another suggestion is if you follow a plan of whole body workouts it'd be helpfull too to lose fats , bcz playing a game in irregular manner with more time and doing workouts in a regular manner with less times have differences so save your time too :) as i am a stundent too and my work is jsut to stick with computer thats why i choose fitness as hobby to stay fit bcz i couldnt go out and play :)

Have you earned anything from competing?
Also do you have to pay to get into these competitions?
Pakistan mein bodybuilding k liye kuch bhi nahin bro...the guys who r doing it is just for their own passion.

No ...nobody has to pay anything to get into these competitions...but a good body.....they took trials for big competitions............... or else they wont allow u to get on stage ;)

Dinner at 9: 3 Slices of Bran Bread with same Veg etc... (But avoid oily and heavy salan) and then Green Tea before bed.

I Quit: All kind of junk food home made and from market both. Sugar is also quit, using Honey as sweetner if needed.


I dont have well qualified trainer, Routine I shared above is self made. I just want to lose weight, uper and lower body is OK. Legs, Arms, and Hips are not fatty. Only Problem is belly and side fat. Kindly tell me some excercies and diet plan for better and long term results.

please clear my confusion,pure desi ghee and pure milk have any disadvantages? can we take them daily? are they as beneficial as we listen from ppl or they have more disadvantages than advantages? these boost energy level and proteins if sum1 has routine of daily exercise and plays sports? thnxx

Excercies ki sequence sahi hai...? suna hai pait ki excercies end mai lagaty hain, main start aur end mai laga rha hn.

Wings, Triceps, Biceps and Shoulder laga rha hn lakin itna stress nai dy rha es prts ko. Major target Belly and Side fat hai esky liye kon c excercies recommend kro gy.

I don't eat anything in the morning and no lunch only dinner the only thing I do drink is Milo at 12 so that gives me energy to do work the whole day then I only eat at night. So is this good? My weight fluctuates from 77-78 now i'm no longer 79 haha :D.

i'd say dont skip breakfast , you may eat less but eat all the meals , otherwise you will get alot of weakness problems , and dont be worried calculate that 77-78 is your body weight but how much fat you got?

i mean you are skipping meals and still you arent losing maybe its your nature's built , but if you arent losing fat this way then use herbs .... i mean tea green tea , and many other tea you can find easily in market , about all of them contain caffeine which will help you to lose fats, bcz sometimes its our genes , everytime they affect , positively sometimes negatively ..... so i think you should start eating breakfast , you can use eggs in breakfast theres no problem , and start using green tea
