is it okay to lift lighter weights after doing with heavier !!!!!!!!!!!

Like i did for bycep
1-preachers dumbbells curls---------------3x8 14kg in each hand
2 curls on inclined bench------------------3x8 14kg in each hand
3-EZ barr---------------------------------3x8 22 kg + bar
4 - hammer curls--------------------------2x8 14kg in each hand

and by bycep was hard and pumped than i did

8 reps of hammer curl with lighter dumbels of 10kg and.

i think my pump and was gone because of this lighter exercise.

and i think it should not be done again.

i also guess that i should do less sets to increase the size and mass in bycep. lets say 2x8.
because 3x8 sets make bycep hard which is similar to do more reps with less weights !

How do you guys even think about weight training during ramadan? Seems very difficult and nearly impossible. You only have a few hours during which you can eat food and drink water. Hurts your nutrition, metabolism and also slows down the rate of recovery of muscles after workout.

ofc we cant do anything , indeed we lose our strength and size in ramadan , but we cant do anything i mean if someone is regular about fasting he would face it ,

but peoples like us beginners or inter level we dont care about our bodies like that, but professionals they cant lose anything , so what they do supplements use they are fast acting n fast absorbing n fast recovering , so they change their supplement program along workouts , but we dont need to be that much worried about it , its just priorities lol i know peoples even my friends are the peoples who are way more healthy than me but they dont fast bcz they say that we are not strong enough to pass a day without eating but they show off that they hit this much n that much on bench press or dead lift :p
sorry no offence but i know these kinda peoples personally :)

but on other side i tried not skip the workouts in the starting of ramadan but i failed to continue and then since 2nd Ashra i am not doing any rep n seriously i lost all of my abs n size of bi's :p but i dont care about abs i can get them back easily but arms are hard thing for me bcz i am not good on diet side :p
but i am happy that i didnt skip fasting :)

I think you can still workout in Ramadan just not as much, I am down to a 3 day cycle instead of a regular 5-6 day one and I haven't lost any considerably muscle but I haven't gained any either, which was expected. I think you just need to hit all the body parts once and also do some compound exercises. I still do the same weight as before just lower reps in Ramadan so that helps maintain muscle.

Hello people! I am looking to join a gym in the Clifton area (Karachi). Any ideas of a place outwhich is reasonably priced with a nice environment. Not looking for anything special, just need to stay fit.

I've checked out Gold Gym at Boat Basin but it's too basic and open air, and I've checked out Cuts and Muscles which is good but too expensive. They are asking for 2000 registration fees and 3000 for the month. And I only need to join for one month.

i can help you with any type of cardio except swimming one :)
Thanks for your reply. I didn't need any particular help just wondering if someone runs for a fitness here. I wanted some things too like:

1) How much time do you run in one session?

2) How often you run in a week?

etc. etc.

everything depends on you :) like we deciede by ourself that we wanna go to gym 2 times a week or 4 times a week , same as cardio we can plan it that whats our goal and plan your week accordingly

and in one session i'd say if you are a beginner then 2-5 miles enough , also if you are over weight then its also enough

but if you goal to get a shredded body then i'd say you have to go insane about cardio , but remember over doing it may cause lose your mass too , so you have to learn it to balance according to your body n goals

so guys fun days are back to hit harder again :D

and arsalan what is your mass now? and age etc? how you can say that you just have to lose only 10kg ? and quickest? its depends on your body nature, size and blah blah blah..... all you need is not losing hope bcz it will take sometime so just dont only do swimming , you may also start with squats , push ups and crunches , running , jumping etc along , so you may lose fast but take care of your diet to and you will be fine :)

and syavash try to find a gym near you , better enviroments will ofc demand more money that only few can afford, well yes i can understand that no good machines is a bad deal for users ,

and if you only wanna join for a month then find someone who has a link with the gym you want to join , he would try to let them discount for you , here most of us do the same , i mean we just ask our friends that we wanna join and if you know anyone let them have some discount and you know that how things work in pakistan lol ,
