Hello guys.

This is my Last bet for PSUS. and i have found 2 PSUS that come around my budget. and probably after i m done with choosing between these PSUS. me and my Sleeping **CLUB3D GTX 670 R.Q ** will go on a ride.

Power Supply - Cooler Master GX-550W Power Supply in Pakistan for Rs.7050.00 | Computer Zone this one i m getting for about 5k and this PSU looks so beast and strong but the fact is its got no warranty and its used. its warranty probably ended this month as my Friend says who is selling it to me.

Silverstone this one is for about 5k too but isn't used though got only 3 months warranty only as i have come to know by a nice person here on PG.

so which one is suggested to buy. i m so tight on budget i can spend about 5k for a PSU and both are around 5k.
+ I PERSONALLY WANNA GO FOR GX-550W because a nice friend of mine is selling it to me but for 4.8k so should i buy it would it be nice deal or should i go for a virgin one SILVERSTONE as its also 500w and 80+.

Please help me out with regard with buying PSU and living my dream WITH MY GPU GTX 670!!!

Dude, GX 550W won't properly run GTX 670. I don't think it has enough amps.
SilverStone has 34A on 12V Rail. GX550W is overpriced.

hes not :D running the card alone :D he has cpu fans hdd and other stuff too :D
And how much power his system is expected to consume on the whole?

300W? 350W?

I doubt that his system will stress GX550W.

To give you an idea:

If the intention is to recommend a high quality PSU to OP; no problem.

However, I have pointed out the error in an assumption here.

Yes but why not buy a PSU which is more powerful and is reliable and future proof. Waisay the GX 550 he's buying is USED. The SilverStone one is brand new and has 34A on the 12V rail and IMO 4.7k is a great price for it.

If You Are Getting GX550 In That Budget......Under 5k.....Go For GX550....Its Quiet Better And Stronger Than Old C.M PSU...Better Reliable Series With More Efficiency....!

On Other Hand Silverstone Can Also Handle Your System Load But Will Probably Run On Its PEAK.....You System With All Stuff On 100% Load requires 450W.....(Calculated Using Power Calculator)

So A 500W Silverstone Can Handle But GX550 Can Handle It More Better As It Got More 50W Along With More Juice On +12A Rail....!

Comparing Both NEW.......Silverstone Takes The LEAD.....But A Good Used GX550 Under 5k Is A Good Deal....!!

What?

GTX 670 is power-efficient GPU with TDP of around 170W (14 Amps).

Dude why Enermax? Get the SilverStone one. It'll run anything without a hitch.

"most" of coolermaster PSUs are crap
Cooler masters "most" is not being discussed here only gx550w 80plus bronze certified psu, which is listed in the recommended psu's list on AMD's official website.

Please dont create confusion by posting misleading statements.
