the gpu is good enough...u shuld be able to run the game at normal graphics(not high or too low) with decent fps...i play on a 7200GS with around 30fps...

30fps are quite low dude..Try to lower more graphics to get atleast 60+ fps..I used to play cod4 with 7600gt and got around 90+ fps with low graphics.

ahhaha mera pc hi aisa hai...30fps are gud enough...dual core 1.6ghz hai...and waisey bhi ab mera cod4 scene off hai...kuch maps like backlot and crossfire mein its around 40-45fps...

ok...so i was having the problem mentioned in this thread

so i deleted the 'servercache' file in my cod4 folder and it solved the problem....
but now whenever i add a new server...the game doesnt detect it...it just merely displays the ip address... Help???

Problem is strange. I think you should try re-installing it..

is it just me or have the ptcl servers stopped working??
my cod4 doesnt detect them...whenever i add them to favourites they are just displayed by their ip alone..nothing else...i cant even open them...it doesnt connect..it tries to connect with them 11 times...then i finally see the 'server connection timed out' notice.....i re-installed my cod4..still no change..
could it be coz i use wateen internet?

No Yateems allowed on PTCL servers

haha i use wateen coz it has monopoly in my area...no other networks avaliable..
anyways they worked a day after the re-installation so this yateem might face you in a match someday

Is it just me or are the servers listed on the first page not working?

Added them all in my Favourites but all i get after adding them is the ip address written there with a question mark on the left end? Tried joining them but it gives connection timed out error.

Could anyone tell me what the problem is here? I downloaded the reloaded version of the game, patched to 1.7, punkbuster is updated i guess but it doesn't seem to be the issue here. What could be the problem? I have micronet dsl btw.
