GPU at MSRP

Hi there where can I buy future GPUs at MSRP in Pakistan? The current line is overly expensive but there were a few chaps here who could get their 3070 or 3080 at MSRP around launch so if you know a reliable retailer who can accept booking in advance for the upcoming 3080 refresh or 3090Ti please let me know here I am willing to buy any card at MSRP be it 3090Ti or 3080 or 3070ti thanks

you can make thread in marketplace , some people on fb also do that but let me tell you about the ziptech , they sell gpu near msrp however not good about delivery , i ordered in August 2021 condition were Nov 15 Delivery which delayed to end of november then mid of december then end of december now January so be careful when you order from such people there is chance that you will have to wait 7 months just to get the gpu at or near msrp prices .

There is no MSRP, You can't even get GPUs at MSRP in States, Nvidia's Founder Edition exclusive sales at BestBuy didn't even get any stocks, EVGA shut down its Queue where they were selling at MSRP directly, even all the board parteners have all raised their MSRP to have a slice of the pie as well, Nvidia raised MSRP with the later launch models and now they didn't even mention any MSRP for the 2060 re-release, and this is excluding the third party seller prices at Amazon, NewEgg or eBay.

In Pakistan you can get the lesser known branded RTX 3000 cards of Manli, Palit or Colorful, etc at relatively less price compared to ASUS ROG cards or other high end cards, best bet would be to import it from any of the importers here on PG.

Yeah actually I have always bought GPUs in China my last purchase was 2080ti extreme and it was around 12500 RMB(around 1920-2000 USD) but that card was expensive to begin with 3000 series is cheaper in comparison especially 3080 which is a 700$ card and I happy paying 1000$ for that but I don't want to pay 1700-2000$ that's what I ment by buying at MSRP

I see yeah I think that's not suitable at all it would be great if I could it in a month or two after launch

3080 which is a 700$ card and I happy paying 1000$ for that but I don't want to pay 1700-2000$

A Year ago, yes, there was a huge difference in prices buying fom USA or getting locally, but now everyone has raised their prices. The cheapest 3080 right now, is US$1700 on NewEgg and US$2679 on Amazon and lets not go over eBay. Beleive it or not, buying locally is not that bad, and I would want it to be in warranty if I'm spending 200-300K.

Board partners are selling in bulk to either OEMs that bundle trash with GPUs or sell whole systems. There is no guarentee that new launches would ever see any stock at any brick & mortar stores or online. Latest prediction by wall street puts Chip shortage till end of 2022, which keeps on getting postponed further & further. 3090Ti would be priced relative to 3080TI's bloated MSRP, not relative to 3090's original MSRP, but still MSRP by Nvidia means nothing, its the market rate and stock that matter. There are people who have been waiting since September 2020 for 3000 series cards. Lets see January 11th's 3070Ti 16GB launch and January 27th's 3090TI launch.

Yeah let's be hopeful if it continues to be like this I will settle for a gaming laptop and build a PC is 2024 or something like that.....as for gaming Series X and PS5 are good enough that's why if I can get a card for a reasonable price then sure I will pick it up and build a PC around it if not then series X and PS5 will continue to rock

Might is right when u comes to GPUs market. Those offering lower prices or MSRP are mostly scams or they will rotate ur money 3,4 times before giving u GPU. So better buy present stock instead investing with those scams.
U can buy Palit etc brands 3070 around 200K against a well known brand's 3070 that will cost around 250k. I have used Asus 3070 & then Palit 3070 on same PC & ,TBH, it yeilds better performance on lower temps. Those claiming that Asus, EVGA & MSI are beter brands then i personally experienced that newer brands like Palit, Leadtek hav better build quality than those big names...

Yeah it makes sense I think a laptop with a 3070 is also a good choice as that can be bought at MSRP plus all my pc accessories and monitor are still in China I will have to buy everything a new compared to a laptop where it's a total package and I can take it back when I leave
