Turn off all lights except for a faint one on (a lamp will do), go to your nearest mirror, and stare at yourself for a few minutes, keeping your eyes fixated on one spot.
Try not to freak out.
I just tried it myself. I had the energy-saver on though, so I guess it could've been better, but I did see deformations. I just couldn't focus for too long.
