Freeze leaves Gotham in Arkham Knight so it's not canon. Also, there's a reason they used the name "Gotham" and not "Arkham" in the title. This is a separate universe/timeline.

Depends, which ever one is carrying the best gadgets. If we compare them in Arkham Knight, it was easy to play as Robin because of his shield (ground takedowns). Although in some situations he sucked too. Batman and Azrael were OP coz of the Freeze and electric blast gadgets.

I was kinnda under whelmed by this reveal. But thats partly to blame on the fact that I was expecting a proper batman game instead of this. Suicide Squad game on the other hand even with no gameplay trailer has me really excited.

Of course Bruce is not dead guys. He didnt die in Arkham Knight and pretty sure not dead in this setting as well.
