It was faithful because voxel-based destruction wasn't being used for anything gameplay-related. It wasn't possible to run the game on PS3 or Vita in the state that it ran on PS4
Put loading screens during portal transitions and run Ratchet on the PS4 as well. Takes away the whole pooooint
Not really. Esp since the same post has you saying another game would be possible on PS3 with some sacrifices (which never happened). Resogun though? Nahh, not possible at all
Take away the real-time destruction element and replace it with canned particle effects, and, at that point, it's not Resogun anymore
Even on the PS4 Pro, the end-of-the-level destruction tanked the frame rate. It's only now via backward compatibility that it's running at a locked 60fps at all times
