Just bought it on the Black Friday PSN deal for 40$ and I must say its worth every cent....wanted to hold on until I could get my hands on a PS5 to play in 60 fps but frame pacing is so good just like the last of us 2 that there's little need of a ps5 (Looking at you Days Gone which I couldn't play on ps4 pro)

Probably just part of their "PS Studios" re branding. Certainly gives them more leeway in their future PC strategy, instead of releasing "Only on Playstation" games on other platforms. But who can tell with Sony these days?

Neither of the Switch emulators are in what I'd call a playable state. And I play online, so

It wasn't until last year that cemu, the emulator for Wii U (a console that launched in 2012), received a dramatic improvement in shader cache related stutters. By the time Switch emulators are in a good state, its successor would already be available.

Sure, the BOTW sequel or Metroid Dread may not have an online mode, but Splatoon, Animal Crossing, Mario Kart, Smash Bros, ARMS are all about playing online. Imagine trying to run the upcoming Splatoon 3 via emulator

I can never get excited about any of these games, honestly! If I ever did, I would have played it.

My only attraction towards the switch pro is for casually playing the 3rd parties, like Dark Souls, The master collection on a handheld form factor!

Before Sony exclusives started going to PC, there was no primary. Both got equal attention. Now, there is a primary and a secondary

Only keeping the PS5 for day 1 access to Naughty Dog's and Insomniac's games as well as COD and a couple of multiplayer games (e.g. Guilty Gear Strive, Dying Light 2) I'm interested in playing with "the people I speak to". As a buyer, my software attach rate is going to be much, much lower compared to last gen
