not into RTS but gears looks fun. the whole sounds etc should be good so the game feels better

Played a couple of chapters so far and its a pretty great transition to the strategy genre. Combat is really good. If you're either into Gears or XCOM you should definitely check it out.

Also didn't expect to have Gears 5 level of production values. Cutscenes look insanely good.

Its better looking than Gears 5 factually because they have brought in new tech. It also has vibe similar to earlier Gears games as compared to newere more colorful ones. Story seems pretty generic and regular Gears stuff.


Game is pretty challenging on normal difficulty but since we do not perma lose our team members like Xcom, it feels less condquential. Still in early stages so cannot give final verdict. But it is remarkably polished.

Cant play it maxed out @4k60 even on the 2080 Ti
