Motorsport 8 is supposedly being built from ground up instead of using the old engine. So, makes sense it'll use modern technologies (which will then get ported to the next Horizon game).
To be fair, FH5 is also the first game to be released on all platforms simultaneously (Steam, Game Pass, consoles)
Still, it did in 1 week what the last game did in 9 months. A hell of a feat that should be recognized.
Damn shame this will suffer the curse of racing games not being considered for GoTY cause this is the strongest contender this year so far, IMO.

Unfortunately John, broken thinking is all we get here when CerebralTiger is involved in any discussion, esp since he doesn't have any data to back up his argument for his fav games
Imagine being the guy who shared an article titled "Why didn't people buy COD this year?" only for two COD games to be in the leading 2021 NPD spot, one of which only released a month ago. Then proceeding to question broken thinking and the nature of discussion on the forum 
Imagine also being the guy who defended poor work condition at CDPR by assigning them the title of "Good guy, Poland", then proceeding to get 'upset' about the poor work condition at other studios
Imagine also shilling for games like Cyberpunk 2077 pre-release, but thankfully avoiding such pitfalls with Battlefield 2042 to an extent by making a quick exit from its thread when things began to head south

P.S. Halo Infinite's CCU stats were entirely based on multiplayer prior to the campaign's launch, so the point about "people finish games" doesn't even matter here lol. FH5 has a lot of single-player activities, so it isn't exactly a multiplayer focused game (the online has major issues anyway
), so it's fair to not look at its concurrent users as the only important metric.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
