Agreed 100 percent. I am not buying at launch as well.

So many other good games on PS5. TBH, Square Enix have become dull. The last good game I enjoyed was FFXII. The previous two FF games were boring and woke.

Yeah they've stopped doing open worlds, all modern FF games since PS3 onward have been zone-based. Not surprising. You can't exactly just do chibby super deformed worlds for air ships like the PS1 days anymore.

Square Enix Final Fantasy games have been going downhill ever since FF13. The game sucks, and I have no hope for their gay invested 16th iteration of the series.
