Ah yes, don't mind me pointing out this stuttery experience, but be cautious of the occasional blip of frame time inconsistency during some area loads in Returnal and portals in Ratchet 🤣

I mean, the "blips" in those games are lower than the 58fps and 59fps ones you found while having a "cursory glance" at desprado's video 🤷‍♂️🤣

Not to mention, those "blips" in Returnal/Ratchet still occurring in a "coded to the metal" version with secret sauce I/O is not a good look for people so concerned with optimizations 🤷‍♂️🤣

Most importantly, looks like desprado is still playing the superior version when it comes to input latency considering CerebralTiger's first exposure to the game was at 30fps 🤣

A third party high end SSD needed for a 2fps gain that still doesn't result in that desirable "straight line" is quite a failure on Cerny's part 🤷‍♂️🤣

As a result, it seems that physical copies of this game will not be available in Pakistan. It would need me to do a lot of downloading, and with our current internet rates, I am not prepared to do that. Is anybody here aware of when the actual copies will be available in Pakistan?

Necrokiller's GOW gifs/videos served as a reminder of just how sluggish and awkward the combat in that game is, so much that it got me to boot up a game with much superior combat (even at higher difficulties lol) and unlock the few remaining trophies I missed out on in my original playthrough 🤷‍♂️

Gain tou phir bhi acha hai 🤷‍♂️
Its still a stitter, doesn't change a thing for straight line freaks 🤷‍♂️ 🤣

This does give me an interesting idea though. If FF7 Remake doesn't stitter below Ratchet (post high end SSD installation), it will be a gloriously superior experience for CerebralTiger compared to playing on PS5. Time to dex it I guess :ROFLMAO:

Not a very interesting idea tbh. A single blip to 50ms (post-expansion storage installation) during a portal transition is far more tolerable than constant dips to 33ms 🤷‍♂️

Assoooooming that every configuration will dip to 33ms is exactly what I want to put to rest 🤷‍♂️🤣

Why wouldn't it? The issue is with the game, not the hardware 🤷‍♂️

Why don't you dex it and show how it performs on your coooonfiguration (a 5 min clip showing Cloud running around in chap 3 would be nice)? Unlike desprado, I'm sure you won't forget to show the frame time graph in the overlay 🤣

Firecoooda can't help on PC without Direct Stoooorage (shader compilation stutters can be reduced by running in the Vulkun API wrapper, but only the developer can truly fix it 🤷‍♂️). Stop supporting monopolies that make lousy OSes, and switch to Proton 🤣

Unlocked fps + VRR. As long as FF7 Remake remains above 60fps, stitters don't matter. Superior experience than PS5. Afterall, even a 2fps improvement is worth a $200 upgrade in Ratchet. Same loooogic 🤷‍♂️🤣

LMAO what on earth makes you think these engine-level stutters don't manifest or aren't noticeable with VRR enabled. Heck, yeh baat tou ex-Alex bhi bata chuka hai 🤣

VRR is mainly good at tackling gpu-bound scenarios, which is great and all, but this ain't it 🤷‍♂️

Idhar to gameplay mein 100fps+ mil raha hai during a boss fight at PS5 equivalent settings, "constant dips to 33ms+" to doooooor ki baat 🤦‍♂️

It's a shit tier port because of how the options menu functions. Lack of settings options, forced dynamic resolution, no dedicated vsync setting etc. But the performance I'm getting is wayyyyy beyond what the PS5 can offer. I will leave it up to some people's imagination at how smooth it is with VRR.

Game is really not my cup of tea though (didn't even bother with the ultrawide fix, dat FoV ). So this is where I have to bid farewell and delete this. CerebralTiber ne to wese bhi kisi haal mein convince nahi hona 🤷‍♂️:ROFLMAO:

we have disabled traderscore and are working on a fix. There was a bug with the plugin
  • No one is chatting at the moment.
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
Its based on the same architecture, if anything PC has higher tier options than what is available in consoles. RDNA2 doesn't have dedicated RT cores so its going to lack behind Intel and Nvidia. Lets see if RDNA3 changes that.

  • Chandoo Chandoo:
i meant it feels way too lackluster in comparison to what else is on PC
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
how do you mean? RDNA2 is same everywhere
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
their console output is ahead in terms of RT
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
PC RT has been such a secondary thing for AMD
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
Saw the rest of the benchmarks for A770.... AMD totally got rekt in RT
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
Plague Tale Requiem supports it 👍
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
Not universal but the most widely adopted. You can even get DLSS working in games that atleast support FSR, so the list grows larger.
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
of course, but then again DLSS isn't universally supported either, neither is the, seemingly on paper, easier to implement FSR 2.0
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
The ideal world lacks in games supporting it too
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
but so far that ideal world completely excludes dx11
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
in an ideal world XeSS is a cheaper DLSS equivalent
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
Chandoo wants DLSS. No way he's buying AMD or Intel lol
    Link
  • XPremiuM XPremiuM:
If you want the best performance, go for Nvidia. If you want the best value, go for AMD. Intel at this point is only for hipsters. That will probably change in a few years though. But for now, Intel isn't a good choice for gamers.
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
it seems like its only good if you only want to play DX12 or Vulkan games right now
    Link
  • Necrokiller Necrokiller:
Their drivers need alot of work for older games. I think their GPUs arent even supported for older hardware
    Link
  • Chandoo Chandoo:
yeah and that doesn't bode well cause people will still want to play all those DX11 games as well
    Link
  • iampasha iampasha:
Looks like they didn't optimise much for dx11.....or like AT ALL
