Rebirth looks better than the PS5 version of Remake and has far bigger environments (possibly open world or something along the lines of FFXVI). Win-win

That was an absolutely wild trailer. Nomura also said the game will end at the Forgotten Capital, which is roughly the half-way point of the original game.

So if they want to make it a 3 part series, they're going to need to cover a lot of track in the third gam.e

It says at least 3 months. Sony has extended the agreement for Remake with Square Enix in the past. May happen again, may not. Time will tell
