If you do a constant ping requests the server can trigger it's DDos protection which can give you timeouts and high latency so as far it's working fine overall, all is well.

Dont expect them to install before a month. get your self another provider for next couple of months. I dont know why PTA is not taking action against Fiberlink. They say they dont have a refund policy and even if you want they shall not refund the amount they took for installation and all you can do is wait.

I recommend find some way to collectively launch a complaint to PTA.

Yeah man. 2 months and I haven't got my connectionn (Lahore). Already filled a complaint to PTA.

Just order its 12Mbps (you can upgrade it later) connection and use PTCL till they install it. My friend has one of 100Mbps, and its blazing fast; sometimes doubles at night.

Ok, I will give it a go. Ptcl's 8 mbps package gives me like 5-7 mb download speed and 0.5-0.8 mb upload. That is absolutely bad and when I talked to them about it, they told me that it can never go to exactly 8.

Nothing is wrong with them except the installation period.

We all know that before ordering so only order if u can wait, we have to do some compromises for that speed in such low price.

I got it in 15 days. Called them everyday plus my neighbour/friend got it with me who told them his dad was a pilot which probably helped.

Never go for yearly. It's not worth the risk, considering the issues you might have.

In the beginning apply as a monthly subscriber and once your connection is deployed and you're satisfied then shift to yearly package.

I am also from cavalry and already waiting for almost 70 days for connection. apply for a connection with minimum speed and then wait for at least 3 months. dont disconnect your old connection till you get there connection and try for minimum 30 days

i have heard they have there line in cavalry extension behind bank alfalah and in old cavalry expect minimum 3-4 months.

I sent them an email. Didn't get any reply even after 20 days. This is quite sad.

Hey everyone. Anyone here who got FiberLink in Gulshan-e-Iqbal block 4 Karachi? It's been 20 days and there hasn't been any work.. no optic fiber cable, no call.. nothing. Should I even expect anything before 2 months?
