Entry in Software Testing or Quality Assurance

AsslamuAlaikum

As the title suggest i am looking for an entry level position in Software Quality assurance field. Is there any brother who can guide me on this, its a rare field and i hardly see any job openings in it, i have done Masters in Information Technology with only final project left and interested in joining this field. I have done my masters from virtual university so there is not much guidance for me. I would really appreciate if someone can help me on this and suggest any special requirements to enter the field

SQA is a different field altogether and a person can not just jump into it. I am sure you were told about this in your bachelors degree. In our SQA course we were told there are a lot of different SQA certifications that you need to complete after your degree to even consider yourself eligible for an SQA position. It's a great field with a lot of scope but sadly here on Pakistan right now there is a cultural gap that needs to be filled. SQA isn't given the priority that it deserves and because of that a lot of products suffer. I have seen a lot of big names in software development that have a team of only two for SQA.
