It's cute to point that out, however, Van Gaal has stagnated, even gone backwards in his career since then, and Mourinho and Guardiola have excelled.

How come ? Where ever he has went he has won titles
His most successful period was 1990 to 2000.

Since 2000, he has only won two League titles (one at Bayern Munich 2009-2010; AZ Alkmaar 2008-2009) and two cups with Bayern in that same 2009-2010 period.

The power that Bayern have in the German League means that I wouldn't call it as big an achievement as some people make it out to be. He was also largely criticized as being a failure in his return stint at Barcelona, as well as in Bayern where he did actually win trophies.

There are definite question marks about him. It's not all positivity like the media will have you believe.

Manchester United misfit Bebe hopes to convince new Old Trafford boss Louis van Gaal that he can play a part in the club's future after a successful season on loan at Pacos de Ferreira.

i don't know what u expect from a manager , Az Alkmaar was a shit club in dutch league he improved them massively , Bayren Munchen was on disaster run before he took over they had pretty bad seasons , he won trophy there he was the one who started building bayren again by signing robben bringing youngsters and promoting them , thing is he never got good 4-5 years at any club , consistency is a key for managerial success .
He was wrongfully sacked at return to Barcelona many people say that .

Luis Suarez has undergone knee surgery and Uruguay team doctors are optimistic he will be fit for the World Cup.

Celtic have announced former manager Neil Lennon will have a say in choosing his successor after he quit the Scottish champions on Thursday morning. During his 4 year stint he helped Celtic win 3 successive Scottish Premier League titles and two Scottish Cups.

I expect a lot more from a manager. I also expect United to be able to get, and be targetting for better managers than Van Gaal who may well turn out to be a complete flop.

And Behrox talks about being given more time?

He will not be given time.

So, we've arleady established that he will not be given time, and that instant success is needed, and he has prior history of not being able to do so.

Certainly with the United squad, he definitely will not get instant success unless success for United is fourth place in the League.

He certainly seems to be getting up to some shenanigans now that he has so much time on his hands.

Squad needs rebuilding every one knows that , and yes man utd wont be targeting title they will be targeting return to Champions league thats what might be his target in first season , along with some domestic cup perhaps , then next season we will target BPL , Moyes was sacked cause he was unable to deliver 4th place also board felt he will be unable to do so next season even with rebuilding .We have money to spend and rebuilding will be there , its not like man utd is gonna sack every manager failing to deliver title in first season like City/Chelsea , with moyes i have stated what might be the reason

Man utd had no other coaches to target in those circumstances LVG is ideal , after 3 years i believe many managers will be available or it will be Giggs who will groomed under LVG to take over as Man utd manager
Any manager coming to Man utd with squad like this can not win title in first season even with rebuilding unless our rivals dont strengthen a single bit of theirs

Van Gaal who may well turn out to be a complete flop
and plz keep ur predictions to ur self we all saw what happened this season with your predictions pretty spot on they were

United have so much deadwood in the starting XI that they need a complete overhaul to be a success. Only quality players are De Gea, Mata, Kagawa, RVP, Januzaj, Chicarito and maybe potato head and all of them can't play in the team at the same time. United don't have a decent DM or CM (no Carrick isn't good enough). If the Glazers bit the bullet on Van Gaal they will need to stay by him because with him there is only his way or the boot up your ass way. They f*** around with him he'll show them the middle finger and leave mid season. LVG is a long term guy if you want short term you should get Mou plus 250m for him to spend. The only reason he was respectful with Barca was because of his history with the club and in the situation he was understanding but I doubt he'll give a jack shit about United if they don't respect him

Stoke City are close to finalising the signing of Mame Biram Diouf on a free transfer. The former Manchester United striker looks set to leave Hannover when his contract expires and he had also been linked with a move to Wolfsburg.

Manchester City are reportedly closing in on making their first signing of the summer in Arsenal defender Bacary Sagna.

Squad needs rebuilding every one knows that
Every tom, dick, and harry has known this for years.

So, either we're all wrong, or Glazers just aren't willing to cough up the money to rebuild the squad.

Which do you think it is?

Common sense, and basic logic dictate that the Glazers feel that the squad is good enough to win trophies (because this same squad were Champion's of England), and therefore blame everything on Moyes.

Van Gaal is being thought of as the guy that will buy one, maybe two players, and return United to the top of the League. This is my gut feeling based on everything that I have seen and heard over the last year.

Moyes was sacked cause he was unable to deliver 4th place also board felt he will be unable to do so next season even with rebuilding .
No manager on Earth would have managed fourth place with the squad United have.

We have money to spend and rebuilding will be there , its not like man utd is gonna sack every manager failing to deliver title in first season like City/Chelsea , with moyes i have stated what might be the reason
United have money to spend? United's outlay in terms of transfer fees over the last 5-7 years suggests otherwise. Glazers have taken every last time out of the Club to reservice debt. Putting up huge money for transfer fees has never been their approach since day one.

Man utd had no other coaches to target in those circumstances LVG is ideal , after 3 years i believe many managers will be available or it will be Giggs who will groomed under LVG to take over as Man utd manager
While this may be true, that doesn't mean that picking the best choice from a poor set of choices is ideal.

As far as Giggs is concerned, putting Giggs in as manager after about three years of assistant manager experience is criminally stupid.

Any manager coming to Man utd with squad like this can not win title in first season even with rebuilding unless our rivals dont strengthen a single bit of theirs
I have said this exact same thing in this very post, and prior posts. I'll add that not only can United NOT win the League with a squad like this, they cannot even finish int he top 4 with this current squad.

and plz keep ur predictions to ur self we all saw what happened this season with your predictions pretty spot on they were
You do not understand the distinction between making a prediction, and acknowledging a possibility. Two very different things, I'm afraid.

Patrice Evra has signed a new Manchester United contract. The 12-month extension period will keep him at Old Trafford into his 10th year as Man Utd player.
