[SOLVED] Dual monitor setup issue on windows 10 . Need HELP

Sup PGers . Need some help with dual monitor setup .

I recently got another monitor for my streaming and gaming system but problem my HDMI plugged monitor doesnt shows up on system reboot but only the one which have DVI connection. I have to plug back the DVI to my main screen then select the input source to HDMI and then plug back the DVI to other screen in order to run both screens . but on restart it all resets again . Only DVI screen shows up until i repeat the above steps again .

What can be the issue and how to resolve it ?

Have you tried different HDMI cables? I've run into issues where some cables just wouldn't work with specific monitors. More details about your rig would probably help people in figuring out where the issue lies.

You said you had to plug in DVI cable then set the input source to HDMI, From where? If you are setting it through monitor's settings you shouldn't need to plug in the DVI- cable. Just make sure your monitor is set to HDMI and not to Analog or some other shit ;s Some monitors have buttons given underneath them.

There is button under screen u can use to switch the input settings . but i cant access until the monitor is turned on . HDMI cable is working perfectly fine . to turn on the HDMI i have to first plug in the DVI cable from other monitor to this one then select HDMI then put back the DVI to that second monitor .

Problem has been fixed . i have to turn off and turn on the HDMI monitor so the system can detect it . but it wont detect on startup for some reason . weird .
