Does Evolution rule out the existence of Extraterrestrial life?

what ..no ..it wasn't their opinion..they proved it in one way or other..opinion is but science is always based on fact or knowledge

facts cannot change...
but we all know scientific theories always change....
for example the universe was thought to be filled with ether as a medium for light to travel.
then the theory was dismissed..
now again we are looking for dark matter which in essence is same old ether...

I agree science uses more logic than religion... But the "Facts" are circumstantial...
Anyway..on topic..I dont think evolution disagrees with aliens..

If not then there may be somebody interfering with this so called "Automatic evolution" on earth (which brings us back to religion )

in absence of any religion ... theism ... n creationism ...
evolution is a theory which is supported by evidences ... but their is no continuous record of evolutionary evidences due to lack of fossils records ... thus making it incomplete to become a fact ... its a theory of evolution which is still evolving with time n evidences ...

Science is in itself ever evolving. The known and proven facts are always being tested, verified all the time. It's through this rigorous quantitative thinking, testing & methods that has enabled mankind to put a man on the moon, we've come to know about the Jovian & Saturnian satellites & beyond. Theories are part of the trial & error, through which facts are substantiated. Before Einstein's time, Newton's laws of gravity were considered the holy grail, but the theory of relativity changed everything. Its also one of the reasons we also came to know about the existence of the "black holes".

Meanwhile, our only Nobel Prize winner, Dr Abdus Salam was nationally disowned in his own country, while India honors its Muslim scientist by making him the President of the country. Tells you a lot about the people here doesn't it

We still have a lot to learn about our own world. Question is, are we willing to learn about the ancient past, or do we want to keep our eyes & brains shut-off to really find out what existed before all this ever happened ?

EDIT: This is again a theory put forward by a scientist. Though it helps explain somewhat as to why we haven't established contact with other extraterrestrials "yet".

No, science isn't based on facts, Read up on what science was a few hundred years ago, and what science dictates now, and you'll see that the 'facts' of that time are complete rubbish. What I'm trying to say? Science changes, it doesn't remain the same for more than a couple hundred years.

It tends towards greater levels of certainty and ever closer to what you may call a "fact".

If science indeed were so far off from being anywhere near "fact", the light-bulb wouldn't light up, the computer wouldn't work, vaccines would be ineffective and Curiosity would have landed on Pluto.

It took millions of yrs for life to evolve n reach at a point to develop into Human intelligent specie n in just 150yrs this intelligent specie has found answers of its creation ... No wonder in next 100yrs what this specie will develop into ...

lol ... But my version is more or less same which u already know ... As I'm neither a theists nor a prophet ... I know from what I read ... N nothing is making sense to me ...
That's why I was asking u guys how an ape became so intelligent that it stopped evolving physically while its cousin further evolved into many species n is still far less intelligent n eat uncooked stuff
or why this natural selection chose a planet with highest probability to sustain life ended up evolving a specie n decided that the most brilliant form of life should be a land based specie on a planet with more than 60% water ... N this natural selection where is it now doing what when this one specie is potentially so dangerous that it is endangering almost all other species ... What will natural selection do direct this one specie to another location in this vast cosmos to another earth like planet or there will be population check as what's written in Georgia guidestone "Maintain humanity under 500,000,000 in perpetual balance with nature"???
N this is just one specie developed on one planet in one galaxy of a universe which may be a part of a multi-verse ...

First, try to open you narrow mind, ask the questions you've never asked before, or are too afraid to ask. Secondly, you still didn't answer my question about the age of the earth.
