Does Evolution rule out the existence of Extraterrestrial life?

I'm really sorry if my post came across harsh. And I agree, I should be providing you reasons to believe in Evolution, but only if it were a debate ON Evolution. It is not, so there's no point. You are welcome to remain skeptical of Evolution. I was only trying to say that, at the very least, you should know Evolution for what it is if you are a critic of it. For only then can your criticism be taken seriously. And you should read first not because you have a "different" opinion, but only because your opinion (regarding Evolution proper, not about how it compares to Islamic genesis etc.) is based on misinformation.

Moreover, any serious debate on Evolution tends to get fairly involved, because Evolution is a very complex theory and I am by no means learned in the matters of Evolution and neither do I have the time these days. (The books mentioned by kalmati are excellent and very readable, by the way).

No, it does not rule out the existence of extra terrestrials. The theory of evolution is just about how life evolved on Earth, a single planet. It doesn't say anything about life being unique to Earth, it just appears that way because we haven't found any life, SO FAR, on other planets. Thank that to the vastness of the UNIVERSE.

There are millions of stars in a single galaxy and there are millions of galaxies in the universe, if even one in a million star has a planet that is just at the right distance from it and can support life, then there are a millions of possibilities of life existing somewhere other than Earth.

Since when Jinn came to inhabit the planets other than earth. AFAIK, its noted in hadees (maybe an ayaa' too, not so certain) that they're prohibited from leaving Earth. You can either be a delusional and deny everything that's been discovered so far, or you can be a skeptic and question everything until its authenticity can be confirmed.

If you have the time to debate & argue, then you have ample time to study up on the matter. As for me, I'm not asking you to read anything. If you want to live a life under a mullah, then that's your choice. But it becomes a problem for me when you try to "impose" your views on others. You have a brain, use it for once in your life and go study yourself. There's no such thing as "free lunch", and nobody's going to spoonfeed you.
