Looks gorgeous on PS5 4K 60FPS

Check library and store. It will try and download the ps4 version every time you put in the disc but you can cancel and delete it, you only need the ps5 version.

I honestly am confused about what you and everybody else on the internet have been telling me (the same thing). There is no option for PS5 in the library, and the store (with the disk inside my PS5) is only showing me option to buy the game for $69.99. No free download. Deleting the game (which I have done thrice now) and reinstalling only gives me PS4 version.

You need to make sure that your PS4 disc region and the store region is the same. I had the same issue with FFVII Remake.
I had to create a new profile to install the digital Intergade DLC download as my store was US region while the game was UK region.


Also, make sure your have the crossgen version with PS5 upgrade written on the cover.

Jaani, ek puppy idhar aur ek puppy udhar. Muuuwaaaaaa! Muuuwaaaaaa! That worked after I switched accounts. I feel like this solution was somewhere in my hindsight, but I was no where near to actually doing this. Thanks so much.

PS5 version looks a world apart from the PS4 due to 4K 60Fps HDR.
