Just look he has the same driver version as R420R but my bro's 9600GT showing 64 shader units.

@R420R: bro get a replacement of the card and go for EVGA 9800GT coz i doubt u gonna find the real 9600GT now. and EVGA 9600GT also looks crap to me due to it's cooler and built

Oh right! 96gso 512mb has 48 shaders not 32. My bad.

And you don't really need a hefty cooler for 96gt coz it stays a lot cooler then the 8800 series.

I agree but still it goes to around 80C with the full size cooler and u can imagine how far it would go with crippled cooler on EVGA 9600GT.

Yar i think you should have gone the next day.....they will try to give you run around now but you should stay firm.....whichever 9600 gt you get, check and confirm that it has 64 sps not less....
