And its performance was clearly showing its a 128bit, I o/ced the ram marginally and I got huge gains, something I experienced with my own HD4670 as well, but not so much with a friends 9600GT
GF 9600 GSO is either 192 Bits or 256 Bits and the card has a 6 pin power connector. It also has 12 ROPs.
That 9800 GT might be a crippled version from XFX. It was surely not a re-branded 9600 GSO.

Post GPU-z screen shot here (latest GPU-z) i'm sure ur's is 32 SP's version.Same here :S My XFX 9600GT doesn't have a 6 pin connector :S

The 32SP one is actually 9600gso 512mb version. Which also doesn't include a 6 pi connector and sucks in comparision to 9600gso 384mb (96SP) normal version.
Also this isn't a problem with galaxy alone, its more of a cheyraan from xfx's side. I just bought HP 2009f monitor and it didn't include a freakin dvi cable. I also contacted a guy who had the same monitor and his cable is also missing. WTF!! The site says cleary that it includes one.

Notice there are 64 stream processors while ur card has 48.
My younger bro has XFX 9600GT (purchased from fajoo) and that card has 64 stream processors, 650MHz core clock, 900Mhz memory clock and 1625Mhz shader clock. Plus that one has full size cooler on it. Here's the link to the card which he has got.

I emailed HP and the rep guy said nothing about the region thing and said I should claim it. He gave off a number of HP support and even wrote Pakistan but the number started with +65.

hey man update ur drivers to the latest version my friend had the same 48shader problem go and uodate your drivers it will show you than 64shaders
You are confusing 9500 GT with 9600 GSO 512, which by any means is a performance card.
9600 GSO 512 has following specs:
- 256 Bits Interface
- 48 Cores
- 512 MB V-RAM
- 57.6 GB/Sec bandwidth
Here is official confirmation.
9500 GT however does not needs one.
One should be very careful when buying XFX cards now.
