w0w awesome, this is from the same guys behind "witcher" and "witcher 2".
cyber punk now that means something to do with cybernetics etc terminator kinda stuff

the arms are cybernetic not sure if the whole lady is a robot

Quit jumping the gun and let those guys actually show you something more than concept art before you start hyping the game upto unrealistic levels just as was the case with The Witcher 2.It was a good game but overhyped by most of the PC gamers here on PG.

You want a serious reply. Oky can you think of a medieval WRPG which has a better storyline and graphics then Witcher 2??
Witcher is a definite GOTY in its respective genre. Plus with sucj fantastic talent, they are going for a new setting hardly being used by anyone. A cyberpunk setting. We have every reason to be excited.
SKYRIM, Dragon Age: Origins, Dragon's Dogma all were far more enjoyable games than the Witcher 2 SKYRIM and Dragon AGE had excellent stories with a fuck ton of lore, Graphics aren't everything man, There has to substance as well.
Have you played Deus Ex Human revolution yet?This game must compete with THAT. Yes you have a reason to be excited and I am too but it's not the time to be calling it GOTY material where all you've seen is two shots of artwork.It was the same case with the Witcher 2, The game was being hyped up in 2011 by just about everyone who'd played it on the PC and when I finally played it in 2012 on my 360 I found out that although it was a great game it was nothing close to the amount of hype you guys had generated for the game here.

All your post is a testament of "MY OPINION'. I respect that but it is all opinion.
Dragon's Dogma. Cmon you want to compare it to Witcher 2?? Although I am a huge fan of Dragon Age Origins, but for me a mature plot and characterization in Witcher 2 is way above anything Dragon Age ever achieved.
Skyrim is a tricky comparison. While Skyrim is a pretty lackluster game in Story, graphics, combat system, leveling system it makes up for it with sheer scale and of course dragons. So I call it a tie between both these games.
And off late I am pretty bummed by this 'I LOVE THE GAME BECAUSE IT IS FUN' argument. Fun has nothing to do with quality of the title. I have fun watching PORN. Is this a good thing?

games but you can't compare them with a masterpiece like Witcher 2. I am no Fanboy of Witcher 2 or CDPR, but I can easily say that CDPR is best Game Dev. Atleast they do care about

I think that Witcher 2 is one of the best WRPGs of all time. In regards to Open World, it is not as good as SKYRIM (cuz we get huge maps but still not a huge world like Skyrim, and no ability to move where we will since there are paths laid out). But in terms of story, RPG elements, graphics, gameplay, it beats other WRPG hands down.
I dunno what you didn't find enjoyable. It was excellent from all perspectives IMO. Maybe it ain't good while playing with a controller...
I've played this game 3 times, and each time I wondered whether I have played that area before or not. You have the chance to play half the game completely differently (when you get the prompt to side with one of 2 sides). This makes it awesome. There is so much content in Witcher 2 in terms of main story line, and I haven't played the enhanced edition, but what was lacking in the original game (sidequests) is added in the EE. So that might have made it all the more awesome.
For me Witcher 2 was one of the best WRPGs of this generation. The game was polished, had no bugs or glitches like there are in Skyrim, and for this, I love it a lot.

And for this reason, I believe CD Projekt can do something awesome in this game. Plus they are one of the best devs ever. They made a port of an excellent game for X360, gave PC gamers the content for free (which is an unbelievable deed when you consider all the major game companies nowadays). So they are good devs and good people. And they can make an excellent game.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
