xD no its easy even on regular difficulty just ply it faster the more u stand still the harder it wll feel

Played a few boss battles. Its a fairly tough game since you only get 3-4 hits at the start but not frustratingly so. Game is oozing with charm and perfectly nails the classic cartoon era in every aspect, character design, world design, animations and audio. Looks absolutely gorgeous. Amazing effort by Studio MDHR.

definitly .. i reached world 2 but i feel there are more bosses levels than other levels.. even stll the music and those cartoony characters are just amazing to look at.

No, I actually popped it in for half an hour a few days ago but put it back because of other games I'm playing.

Also I'll probably wait for cheat engine before playing this

The game is surprisingly super light on system requirements. It's running at 1080p/60 on my non-gaming laptop.

Cuphead coming to Switch hints at the future of Microsoft and Nintendo’s partnership

Cuphead, one of Microsoft’s most critically acclaimed Xbox exclusives, is coming to Nintendo Switch on April 18. The release date was announced Wednesday during Nintendo’s Nindies Showcase, which focused on independent games coming to Switch.
In the promo reel for the 2D action game, Nintendo thanked both Cuphead developer Studio MDHR and “our friends at Microsoft.” Over the past year, the two competing game console makers have begun to cooperate in surprising ways. In June 2018, Nintendo released a video promoting cross-play on Switch and the Xbox One. In February, Microsoft announced Xbox Live would arrive on iOS, Android, and Switch. Around the same time, rumors swirled that Microsoft could bring its GamePass and Project xCloud services to Nintendo Switch, along with bringing Microsoft games to the Nintendo eShop.

Cuphead’s final episode is going to need more time in the oven. Developer Studio MDHR announced today that Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course has been delayed to 2020. The add-on was originally planned for release sometime this year.
Studio MDHR said it wants to continue to polish Cuphead’s DLC and to avoid an unhealthy development cycle, an increasingly common refrain.
“While we initially announced a 2019 release date for the Delicious Last Course expansion, our highest priority is making sure this new adventure meets the meticulous level of care and quality we always strive for,” Chad Moldenhauer, co-director at Studio MDHR, said in a statement. “We want to be absolutely certain that this next adventure feels at home in the world of Cuphead and is full of moments that surprise and delight players. Furthermore, the development of the original game taught us a great deal about the importance of making things in a way that’s healthy and sustainable for our team.
“With that in mind, we’re taking a page out of Chef Saltbaker’s book, and spending the necessary time to get the recipe just right — this means that we’ll be moving the release ofThe Delicious Last Course to 2020. This wasn’t an easy decision to make, but we’re confident it’s one that will result in a higher quality experience that’s all the sweeter when it does arrive.”
Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course will add an all-new island to explore and new character, Ms. Chalice. The add-on is in development for Nintendo Switch, Windows PC, and Xbox One. A new teaser for the DLC can be viewed above.

Cuphead gets surprise launch on PS4 today



PS4 version of Studio MDHR’s run-and-gun shooter comes to PlayStation Store

Cuphead, the stylishly animated run-and-gun shooter that debuted on Xbox One and Windows PC, is coming to PlayStation 4. Studio MDHR announced a PS4 port of Cuphead on Tuesday, with a surprise twist: It’s out today on the PlayStation Store. The PS4 version costs $19.99.

Xbox fans are also getting an update for Cuphead. The developer is adding a digital art gallery, behind-the-scenes commentary features, and a playable soundtrack to the game. The developer did not provide a release date for the update.




Cuphead was first released in September 2017. After the game’s Xbox One and PC release, Studio MDHR brought the game to Mac and Nintendo Switch. The studio is currently working on an expansion for Cuphead called The Delicious Last Course, which was originally scheduled for release in 2019. Studio MDHR did not provide an update on the DLC’s release date, other than to say the studio is “still working hard on it,” but “it’s taking us a little longer than we thought.” Maja Moldenhauer of Studio MDHR said the game’s DLC will be available on all platforms on day one, in an interview with Geoff Keighley.

Studio MDHR is also working with Netflix on an animated series called The Cuphead Show!

Studio MDHR says it won’t compromise on quality for DLC



Cuphead’s final episode is going to need even more time in the oven. Developer Studio MDHR announced Wednesday that Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course has been delayed to 2021. The add-on was originally planned for release in 2019, but was delayed to 2020 last summer. Now the game’s final piece of downloadable content is slated for release next year.

Studio MDHR said it wants to continue refining Cuphead’s DLC, and won’t compromise on the game’s quality in pursuit of releasing the add-on this year.

“In true Studio MDHR fashion, we aren’t content for this final chapter to be anything less than our best work,” developers Chad and Jared Moldenhauer said in a statement published to Twitter. “Throughout development, we’ve challenged ourselves to put everything we learned from making Cuphead into the quality of The Delicious Last Course’s animation, design, and music.


“Meeting this standard has been extremely challenging for us amid the global pandemic that has affected so many of our fellow developers. Rather than compromise on our vision in response to COVID, we’ve made the difficult decision to push back the release of The Delicious Last Course until we are confident it will delight the Cuphead community the way we feel it should.”

Cuphead: The Delicious Last Course will add an all-new island to explore and new character, Ms. Chalice. The add-on is in development for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Windows PC, and Xbox One.
