connection timed out when opening a site which opens on friends net

Salam,

Ok so this is weird,

I am trying to open gPotato.eu Free to Play MMORPG Portal - Free PC Online Games but keeping getting connection time out error. I tried from my mobile as well with same result. So I asked a friend, who also has PTCL and is also from Lahore, and he can open the site.. This has been happening for quite a while.

also, if I do "ping www.gpotato.eu" in command prompt, I do get a response

Any ideas why this is so? What possible solutions there are (other than using proxies)?

Try changing your DNS to Google DNS ( 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4 ) or Comodo Secure DNS ( 8.26.56.26 ).

I changed the dns here but no luck . Let me know if I was supposed to change it at some different place.
