Cellfone recommendation - 15k budget

Hi everyone, looking for a cellfone, budget is 15k max plus minus.

Cellfone is to be used for applications like whatsapp, YouTube, net browsing - just basic stuff and nothing extraordinary.

Kindly advise if there is anything that fits my budget. I checked on daraz and found some xiaomo and infixi models. Not sure which one to go with..

I would seriously suggest to increase budget to 20-22k, 15k will get you a 2gb phone that will lag alot. I had a Redmi 8a not some time ago despite amazing battery life the ram management was so poor.

Still if that is the strict budget you got, go for it atleast it has Type C port and 5000mah battery.

Bro in infinix 3gb models are available for around 17k models are hot 8 and hot 9 play.

Xiamoi has 9a and 9c but in 2gb models.

Should I go with infinix? Have previously used zero 3 and was satisfied with it, not sure how the company is performing these days...

I myself looking for a ~20k phone ditched the idea of infinix and tecno as they are too damn big with 6.7 - 6.8 inch screens. Redmi 9a is too laggy with miui 12 no for that.

Bro used infinix mobile 5 years ago some model I dont even remember, recently there are so many adds in their software system, there are plenty of local youtube reviews you can check few videos to get a better idea.

I will seriously suggest get redmi 9 for 20k it has 3gb ram and a decent set of cameras. OR Realme C3, Realme 5i all good phones with atleast good processors and ram.

Have used xaomi, infinix and Tecno.

All three of them have ads and pre installed apps and adds can be disabled easily thuru a custom launcher ( I recommend Lawnchair)

Xaomi is the worst offender when it comes to bloat and ram hogging background apps. Infinix is the least heavy and better optimised and is my personal favorite among these three

Tecno interface looks very similar to infinix but comes with slightly more pre installed apps which can be disabled anyway

Just get whatever is more bang for your buck

Bro, visited market today and found this Elephone A6max. Specs and price looks good. Approx 16.5k for 4gb+64gb+20mb cam front and back+3950 mah battery.
I've never heard of this company before. The shop keeper said the company has been launched around 2 months back in Pakistan..

Its not about megapixels or memory, if the processor is shyte it will be slow even with 12gb ram, I believe this phone comes with a P22 processor plus its a phone from mid 2019

Yes, increase your budget a bit more and get the Redmi 9 3GB/32GB variant -- comes with newer standard type-c port, has IR blaster, 1080p with widevine L1 support for HD Netflix streaming. I've both 9A and 9C at home and they require more patience in order to be usable than the Redmi 9 (4/64) I had. 9A though, surprisingly has a better display quality than the other two I mentioned. Redmi 9 has poor color calibration which I'm hoping would be corrected in the MIUI 12 update.

It's exactly what you'd expect from a phone with 5,000mAh battery phone, which is to say excellent. It even supports 18W fast charging, but you don't get fast charger in the box.
