[Important] Calling out all local university students. (Medicine students in particular)

I'm eyeing a few changes around this section.

While there is ample, (albiet, somewhat outdated) content on this sub-forum pertinent to uni's abroad, O&A Levels, Programming, CA, even the armed forces, there's nothing on medicine, dentistry and veterinary sciences.
Being an Engineering student, I haven't the slightest of clue as to what the procedure is. I believe in quality therefore want to use first-hand information, and not something I borrow off the net.

I've been PM'd several times asking if I could help with MCAT and medical uni's and whatnot. Point being, I cannot cover this myself, therefore, I need the medicine students in Pakistan to write up whatever they can about the procedures, about how to apply, when to apply, what stuff is needed etc. Any help that can help form a thread will be much appreciated. Anyone who wants to take the initiative should please come forward and PM me, or discuss in this thread.

The medicine students aren't very well represented either, them taking the smallest fraction of the PG Uni Student's thread. I know there are more of you out there. Please come forward so that you can help others!

In addition to this, I'm thinking of doing a mega-thread on Engineering and CS in Pakistan. Studying outside Pakistan, I found out, only yesterday, of a local exam for Engineering called ECAT. There are many people out there who don't know this, much like myself. If the local Engineering students can give me details to build upon, in that, requirements, entry tests, application procedure etc, I think we can develop a great thread covering the most popular field here by number.

Lastly, if anyone has any suggestion of any sort, please feel free to let me know.

Okay I am in but what type help ... But I think all of matters in medical sciences are straight forward

1:Matric >fsc>mcat> private or public sector admission acc to marks >housejob> fellowship/specialization/abroad(PLAB,USMLE etc)

Theres only one tip for medical students.
Cram up those books and sokve past papers.
No one cares about your knowledge or your concepts. Ratta is all you require and ratta will get your fcps cleared too.

I am a medical grad. From Bolan Medical Collage Quetta. Did my mbbs from there. So any help u guys need let me know. I can help you and guide the future aspirants viz from prepping for entry tests to what to do after completing your mbbs. That either one should attempt the USMLE Steps, Plab, FCPS or MRCP etc

I might be able to help out.

My sister plans on doing medicine soon, so I've been doing research on med school requirements, procedures etc. Plus my parents are doctors, so I can ask them for advice as well.

Personally I'm doing engineering and have been through all the entrance tests, ECAT and what not, so I'll be able to help there as well.

Sooo.. Just lemme know whenever any one needs help!

EDIT: My knowledge about med schools is limited to karachi only.

I don't mind.
I can share what I already know and will keep you all updated with any new information I get.

But as I mentioned before, my knowledge about medical universities is limited to unis in karachi only.
Engineering mein I'll be able to help out more cause it's my field and cause I applied to unis all over Pakistan.

I am all up for individual or team work. Both r fine with me. My expertise like i mentioned will be guiding the aspirants in medicine and in css/ n other competitive civil services exam.

[MENTION=25983]AbbY[/MENTION] ECAT is only required to apply in UET and PU (Engineering new campus). Rest universities like FAST and NUST have their own test. Also PU (CS degree program) have their own test.

Its my pleasure to guide students in Medical field. Just for information around the world, fields like Molecular Biology, Plant biotechnology, Molecular pathology etc have good scope. In Pakistan opportunities are there but limited. Our universities are also offering these programs. So if you are unable to get into MBBS or PharmD it doesn't matter. Choose other advance fields according to your taste.

I did a shit-ton of research as well as looking up past percentages for admissions in various universities across Pakistan ( for no reason whatsoever ), ill be posting everything i got soon.

    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
