[SOLVED] Calling all those with korean LG G Pro F240 (Wifi dropping)

there is no such issue. Which Rom u r using, it should not drop on stock Rom? And NO OTA update will fail during installation if you root it.

Stock rom, android 4.4.2, the latest update.
After random times it says wifi connection not available but the wifi connection icon stays there.

Stock rom, android 4.4.2, the latest update.
After random times it says wifi connection not available but the wifi connection icon stays there.

Install a custom rom but backup baseband efs and rom of phone before installing custom rom.

Using 240l on stock rom with modded build.prop no issues regarding wifi....

when i was on 4.1.2 ...it was fine as well.

Never faced any issue.

OK so here is an update.
I changed some settings in my router page so that I get a static IP and it seems to have solved the issue.
I only tested it on onedrive. Before I was never able to login to one drive, it also disconnected, after the static IP I logged in to onedrive on the first try!

I really hope that it was the only issue iA.

Also can anyone tell me those who have f240k/s about it price, is it cheaper? Cuz it has lower speed(1.5ghz). And do the Exxx model have 1800 band for lte?

The static IP did not solve the issue.

I did this ROM SphinX PRO V2.0 For LG Optimus G PRO: F240 L… | LG Optimus G Pro | XDA Forums and the wifi does not "drop" but becomes unresponsive or says <connection name> is a no response from internet. But the location services came back although I still have not been able to get a lock on GPS inside home. Have not tried outside.
