the multiplayer is weird..i cant say whether i like it or not yet...although some of the shit is pretty stupid..no FOV changes, no pings, no dedicated servers..HUD layout is confusing

I never expected it to be free from bugs/glitches, but to be stuttering in the damn menu of Ghosts, takes it to a whole new level of bad porting or just bad game script, whichever you might choose.

This here is another example of just horrid optimization. And to answer your question, Absolutely Nothing, apparently on Max setting you use up to 1.9gb at most. Don't understand why the 6gb minimum. The graphics aren't even that good. All in all its a bad PC port. Runs pretty fine on PS3 as far as i can tell you.

WTF is wrong with the game? Update 1 from RELOADED came out a while ago and i have that installed. But i can see some extremely annoying problems. Occasional stutter which you can barely feel but the cursor skips a beat because of that. Black Ops 2 had the same problem when it came out and was fixed long after its release.

The current mouse lag which feels almost negligible, but is hindering my gameplay. I just hope they release a fix soon.

the new update did fix it(its still there but can only be felt rarely) also make sure that mouse accelaration from settings is turned off and you arent using any overlay software(including fraps) helps a lot

Its just like Black Ops 2. One update reduced this problem of cursor stutter to absolute minimum, but didn't remove it completely. And then another update was released to fully eliminate it. Its obvious that situation is going to be the same this time too.

And i have read all those questions, like mentioned here mentioning FOV mod, Crash fixes and all those 20 questions.

I do use Acceleration and i don't want to turn it off as it gives me better control over my aiming. And i'd rather NOT play it like this. (I had to wait like 2 months for Black Ops 2 anyway so i am cool).

Anyway, i hope you are enjoying it. The opening sequences had me going on for a while, until i was obscured by this puny problem I hope the next patch comes sooner because i am dying to play it.

Another update of KB2908279 for Windows 8.1 was released on 15 of November (previous one was released on 8th i guess) ... and it fixed Call of Duty Ghosts' problem for me. Alteast now i can play in peace.

That 4GB was "after" the fix

It was 6GB previously.

really? MW3 was pretty smooth for me, Black Ops 2 was too in the starting 2-3 months..then shitty lag issues started in BO2 and its sort of unplayable now but MW3 is still smooth..Ghosts had insane lag in the starting few weeks..its getting better slowly but still sometimes it becomes impossible to play although the situation has improved since launch
