MULTI BERSERK Video Game Adaptation E3 Teaser

Yoooooooooo! It's happening. It's another mosou game but whatever, it's happening. Anything to get my mind off the new trash anime. Actually, the PS2 game was also a mosou and that looked fun as hell. And it's the only way you can really get that "100 man slayer" feel. From the teaser it looks like the game is going to be post eclipse. The teaser shows the climax of the eclipse and it'd fit the theme of the new trash anime as well. My hype is building! I just hope to god they don't censor anything. Oversensitive pearl clutchers need to leave art the fuck alone. GAF's already soiling it's collective frillies just over this 50 second teaser. God, those guys are pussies.

Some glimpses of gameplay, yup looks like a berserk game. Needs more gore but otherwise looks solid, big fan of the muted colors captures the feel of the manga really well.

This is turning out to look better than the shitty new anime. This feels like Berserk and Guts' model actually looks like Guts. The magazine scans look promising. Looks like the game is set post eclipse like I thought but sadly they seem to be re-doing the same parts of the manga that the other PS2 game covered. They're skipping the Conviction Arc again it seems which sucks so god damn much. Conviction had some of the most memorable moments in the manga, the Lost Children Chapter with "Adult Attack", the rape horse, the fake festival at Albion with the Mozgus fight.

They're skipping so much good shit, and all we're getting is trolls in return. Well I hope they at least finish off the Millennium Falcon Arc properly. Thrashing the Dakas and the Daiba fight might make up for it. We'd also get a lot of kick ass characters from covering the Arc like Silat, Grunbeld, and Skull Knight.

P.S. I really love this cover. It really shows how they're not shying away from the darker themes of Berserk.
