I guess we need new English update files located in \Update\Patch\Win32\LOC\
Someone with English version who has updated with this new patch will already be having these files.

The game works great in 3D but its a little difficult to play with the iron sights. Probably need to get used to it. Blade let me know what you think of the 3D.

You having the same issue?
No.

However, you should follow the provided instructions with the game to run it properly.

Some tips:

1. DirectX should be fully updated.
2. Latest DotNet Framework programs shoud be installed.
3. MS Visual C++ 5.0 and 8.0 should be installed and updated.
4. Windows 7 SP1 (Optional but recommended)

Also use Forceware 275.33 driver. This one is most stable. Don't use the Forceware 285.58 driver.

In addition, assign admin rights to the application. And make sure that it is added in exceptions list of Firewall.

For those using the EU key i found a fix for the game to update:
1)close origin

2) go to Battlefield 3 /Support/EA Help/en-us

3) delete Electronic_Arts_Technical_Support.glo

4)Run origin as administrator

5)Done now it will repair install and update itself

Battlefield 3 is made on Frostbite 2 engine so its more graphics card intensive rather than CPU intensive.
you should have minimum 8800gt to run this game smoothly with medium graphics and low resolution. 1280 by 960

The game stutters like hell, lags like hell. I'm shooting someone, turns out he's walking on the same spot for about 5 seconds, next thing I know, I'm dead. I take off in a jet, try to make a turn but it keeps going straight, next thing I know, I'm dead. My mouse sensitivity randomly slows down at times. The game crashed on me 8 times in a row. This is an absolute disaster. The only time since launch when I've doubted my purchase.

No. Before the update, the game worked flawlessly 30fps+. All these problems started occurring post update.
Unless u played on medium, it's hard to imagine u got 30+ fps on a 2gb ddr3 and 4870. My advice, upgrade ur ram. Ur system is getting overwhelmed.

and there you go bashing the game :looking:
so you doubt the purchase i would highly recommend selling out the game as you cannot enjoy better to sell it
and if you wanna keep it and its stuttering try new drivers drop resolution the most possible you can
