Battlefield 1 ping (PC)

AoA. Lately i have been playing battlefield 1 on ptcl and zong 4g both of which give me a ping of around 180-220... Since the net code update DICE made, now the game is unplayable on this ping... Do you guys know what isp gives best ping in pakistan.. i am a student of King Edward Medical University Lahore and there are no fiber optic internet providers near my hostel.. what should i do..??

And now found a solution! you need a better Lan Card E2500 (killer Network Lan) with latest bigfoot firmware update. I destroy enemy teams even at 185ms...

They don't really care about high-ping players. I bought the game because ping wasn't an issue in the demo.. However with the later updates, everything got fucked. I still play the game but it's nothing like it used to be for me. Half the bullets don't register.

yeah same here, i even bought the Premium this time and they F'ed it up with this ping thing, i dont play now..

According to EA team this is the problem causing so high ping in US-East and Europe servers, And they said they are working on it! I ran some (UOTrace) and manually tracert (159.153.72.252) this is Dice Europe server. So here is this hosting website which is making major cause in our ping. (be2346.ccr22.mrs01.atlas.cogentco.com) EA send me this link through Email.

solution ....graduate( tw doctor here too ) .....give your usmles and get residency training in usa ...then you will have no ping issues ....havnt played it since the netcode upgrade ..tried it on the killer k1 lan card aswell ( have nayatel ut still pings around 180ish)

Type (Middle East) in the (Filter By Name) box in server browser section to access middle east if you cannot find it by Asia region selection. Ptcl :x keep making your excuse i am almost there to choke your throats with those lame words this cannot be fixed

I dont see any middle east region in my game, only ASIA. am i doing something wrong ;/

nah just wasted an hour updating the game...the same issue persists ...its alot better on the ps4 rather than the pc ...im glad i didnt buy the premium ...its probably fixed at your end but the people i know have stopped playing it because this ping issue ....never played on middle east servers except during bc2 and bf3 days......and i guess i never will lol

140 ping on ME server.. but even if the ping is OK, there are no people there. Empty fucking servers. Fuck arabs.

Things keep getting better & better by me not by Ptcl and no thanks to them honestly they did nothing in the last 2 years instead destroying new roads for Fiber optics deployment! Well i tweaked more for lower pings and achieved little less then 94ms

And this is what i get on Europe servers! around 160ms, Which is ok! for me doing okay in Bf1 80% bullets will register with (Hellregel Factory, Autoreloading 8.25 as medic and SMLE K3 & Ofcourse Automatico Storm) use these weapons, If you need some help with ping and configure your damn D-Link modems i will be glad to help.

Now dont be so confused! You were expecting a green page says Ptcl!! nope, I just changed the D-link 2750u Firmware from its official website, You can see the firmware marked in the edited pic i am sharing. Just google the D-link model you have and download its firmware.You also need to Port Forward your ports from your modem.

Also forgot to mention, I am using 20mbps package of Ptcl which is Maximum for and Adsl connection!, My copper line does not support more then that. After doing the above settings your download speed will be reduced to half. I am using Google public dns (8.8.8.8)(8.8.4.4).

Is this a joke man? Thank GOD i didnt buy BF1 on PC , just got origin access to test it first and Middle East servers are empty. Hong Kong is giving me 300ms ping and cannot join EU servers. Dont know why. I am Nayatel (Office) . Quick match join to Middle East servers with 50ms ping but no users

EU servers are OK. 160-180 ping.

Valve fucked us over though. The servers, the way they were at launch, aren't there anymore. The 'lenient latency' option that is available in server settings is what the original servers came with as default. Now if you turn it on your server becomes custom and hence no quick-play games.. so no one turns it on.

I get 45ms ping on Middle East server but they are all empty

although i tried to play on other servers and i am getting 160ms ping on europe servers and its pretty playable.
