Hey Peeps,

So I have been looking at price trends lately and gaming merchendise prices have gone through the roof.

I mean Xbox S console going for 50k, Fifa 20 going for 10k.

Please avoid getting a console or these games for few more months. Pakistani traders as you know try to exploit and gaming traders are no different. Most of them import there stuff from Middle east at normal rates and here sell it at twice the price. Dont listen to BS that it is dollar rate. They never buy at dollar rate and pay no custom duties.

Since new consoles and Intel, Amd, nvidia are launching new hardware soon. Avoid this quarantine price hike.

Yeah, the Nintendo Switch, a $300 console, is going for 70K. Meanwhile, the PS4 Pro is for 80k. It's crazy. Pray that our consoles/PCs don't fail for the foreseeable future.

As for games, go digital. Places like G2A (sellers with 'excellent' ratings) are your friends.

God of War 2018 was the last time I paid full traditional price for a game. Options on consoles are severely lacking. But even generally, spending more than $40-ish frequently, let alone $60 for each game, has been an absurd idea for a while now.

Options on consoles are severely lacking.

At least consoles give you the option to sell your used physical game copies. One would end up saving a decent amount that way. In the end, you don't get to keep the game, just like Game Pass. But unlike Game Pass, you get to dictate when you want to lose access to it.

Bought RE3 for $40 using store credit, sold it for $45 on FB marketplace after platinuming it

Was expecting it to get dexed by now but ah well, it's not like I have any shortage of new games.
