for an answer id just say....... NO
infact NEVER because some fools would always be there to TRY to play it on pc. living in PK the best gaming machine is XBOX360 now. i Geared on a damn PC for the sole purpose just months ago but hell it DIdn't worked out 50-60k went in vain exept for few exeptionals which ran up fine (STRATEGical), not even a 200k pc can game here where piracy exist............... u buy a game (2-3months OLDer than 360) eg.GTA 4, fuckin DVD Drive buzzed it off... if it was able to START installing da game SHIT what do u know the lights wents out..... phew! probably along with HDD data and windows if ur lucky and it didnt happen then start it all over....... 50% the game installed up............ ok ok.... where is the crack on dvd...... oh bullcrap! the crack is a damn VIRUS itself....... if the game ranned any way which is 20%......... wait for the UNEXPECTED error.....any time now...................... and the game finally crashed! :rip:

that's the REAL pc gaming here pals face it. i have EXPERIENCED IT to the maximum possible. if u want to game up (apart from exeptional strategy titles) go saddar market grab a -NTSC-J JASPER 7+ month of 2009 manufactued XBOX360 with some 10 brandnew brutte titles go home and rip it up right outa box ol night. ul be 200% MORE happier for just 28k that's a sincere advice u'd be happy,- bullcrap on them who say console gaming is childish they are doing it for the sake of there bussiness (PC) THERE KIDS THEMSELVES BEGING UP FOR SALES.

if there is a best gaming pc on earth (sp- PK) it's the (1)XBOX360.

Okay... This is going nowhere, arguments upon arguments upon arguments... I think you should lock this thread down Shyber or leave it open (as you wish), I am leaving this thread. It does not mean I have nothing else to say or I am out of arguments, but the worse thing happening here is that it is getting personal between us, specially me and Ahsan which I don't desire.

1, Alan Wake who's publisher is Microsoft is not coming on PC or say its a timed exclusive. There is a petition out there demanding an explanation from Microsoft about this but so far no reply from them.

2, Fable 2 is not coming on PC and the developer is Lionhead, a studio owned by Microsoft.

3, Halo 3 is not making its way to PC and again the game is owned by Microsoft Game Studios.

4, Forza Motorsport 3 is made by Microsoft Game Studios.

5, GT5 is made by SCEA, a studio owned by Sony.

6, Killzone 2 developed by SCEA, same story.

6 titles are no coincidence, so where their priorities are ? even a child can see that. The thing is whoever consider Dx11 and Windows 7 the best support from Microsoft for PC is a total fool when Microsoft can do much more. They are just pretending to fully support PC as they don't want to leave that area as well, while they are actually doing the best for their console only. They are indeed afraid that if they give total priority to PC, their console will die or capture less market. Enough explained !!!

But noooo... someone is going nuts here, repeating same stanza of his own poem again and again. He is saying that Microsoft is actually supporting PC but on the other hand also complaining Fable II, Halo 3, Forza 3 and Alan Wake not coming on PC.... Bullocks !!!

I say Sony is much better than Microsoft because they clearly show where their focus is... It is PS3 but Microsoft is creating an Illusion for PC gamers and you are the biggest target of that illusion.

Now go think whatever you like.

Maybe they are not as successful or famous as Forza 3 or GT5 but they are something, maybe racing sims are not very successful on PCs like RTS games on consoles, that is why they are not very popular. Honestly no arguments this time, you are free to call them whatever you like, the stage is yours. I am posting these names because it is something I promised in an earlier post.

I am firm in my opinion and you are in yours, I am going to leave it on time to decide. History is evident for PC gaming.

Funny thing is, people who are on 'your' side (necrokiller mainly) ... have consoles for the 'exclusives' as they say ... yet you keep saying "There are more than enough PC games". Clearly if a person is bothering buying a console while having a PC ... he aint satisfied by the library of games, because the PC pretty much destroys consoles in all other aspects (graphics, multiplayer, controllers option, mods everything).

Hehe Ahsan lotay Don't bother with this argument man. Theres a difference between me owning consoles to keep my options open with what the gaming industry offers and jumping ships and completely going against a platform you whole heartedly defended (podcast 2 zomg!..exegerration, extrapolation and what not LOL). I'm not saying you made the wrong decision (well mostly you did if its the exclusives you crave, but then comes budget and all that..diff. issue)....but doesn't mean anyone who doesn't follow your foot steps is making a bad choice.

My X360 is collecting dust all day. It was an impulse buy. It cost me a price of selling my Sony MP3 player (NOT especially to buy this) + $15 that I had in my wallet at that time LOL Being an Elite package, and SO damn cheap (2 weeks of Braid played on it at best ), I thought it can't possibly suck so bad to have one. You very well know I was planning to sell it (maybe for a DX11 gpu in future )

The PS3..aahhh, now you're talking about the good stuff. It serves as MORE than a gaming console to me (which it definitely is) and sadly according to the people here, the 'dvdrip qaum' in Pak couldn't care less about the extra nifty features. It serves as a wireless media server in my house and I can safely leave it on all day without having to worry that it might die on me like a certain other console (watch the <4% article being dragged in here lol). I watch and browse my library through any PC or laptop connected to the same network wirelessly. You're really not getting your money's worth if you don't use all the features it has to offer.

Don't get me wrong dude, I'm all for quality. But most of the times the difference in quality is much less (read: negligible) compared to the difference in delay of release frames.

Are you sure you got a Quad-Core and 4870? Puzzling Refer to my list if you can't possibly wait for your big games. If they don't suffice then you're really hard to please.

Though still wouldn't be as hot as a dedicated PC only CE3, yet am sure it'll be good enough to rub onto console gamers.

Oh no, am not denying anything. I was just making sure that you knew about that. I was basically pointing out that these weren't big deals - it's something that's on with PC always. Though their absence might enforce the downward curve argument.

No they're not. That's just PR stuff. Crytek are bounding themselves around console limitations. As I said, I'm anticipating to be surprised and blown away by a CE3 worthy of being called a successor to CE2 rather than the marketing move of calling CE2 console version as CE3. I hope you get my drift, that I know how good Crytek really are and they would've done much much better if they didn't have to waste their resources on console ports.

Too soon to say anything Shyber. They also claimed the flexibility of the CE3 will allow them to get the best out of all the platforms. I'm sure you know that. Wouldn't it be wise to see what the actual gameplay footage is like across all platforms when it closer to what we'll get rather than a tech demo? We can surely expect tons of comparisons for this visual behemoth going multiplatform. At this point, that argument isn't valid in my opinion. While simply taking that route for more sales is.

But why is only PC being attacked here for the multiplatform titles? As far as the trend on the internet suggests, most of the PS3 versions suffer from worse screen tearing, frame rate issues and blurry visuals compared to the X360. PC has taken a back seat since devs don't utilize their potential you say? (Sorry but I had to ask this again as you didn't answer me before) How many multiplatform games can you name which have made full use of the blu-ray? Uncompressed lossless audio, ability of very high textures and huge amounts of data being packed onto one BD-disc. Let alone the Cell processor. Similarly, how many games on the X360 are even comparable to Alan Wake? Yet that is acceptable on a fruitful console. Weird double standards.

From another perspective, that proves my point even more. CE3 looking worse than CE2, a case that wouldn't have occurred if Crytek hadn't bothered with console versions.

You deleted that youtube video thread which did a far better and thorough comparison of the CE2 vs CE3 demo saying its too soon to talk about it.....yet here you are passing judgements too soon. By the looks of it, CE3 does look worse than CE2, but we don't know the difference between PC and consoles when the game is finalized.

I am a PC gamer as well. I will rather play their better version but I'd rather not wait for 6 months for them.

In the podcast 2 you said, you prefer the consoles for ease of use over PC. Then you told Ahsan having a choice of ONLY one platform, you'll pick PC. I'm not sure what to believe here

Wasn't that enough when you've mentioned countless times that PC versions are obviously superior and its stupid to think that a multiplatform would NOT be best on the PC (Ahsan's sig in his better days :lol. How can 'mostly negligible' differences warrant those comments?

There are many adjustable settings other than resolution. And then that edge smoothing thing I talk about, then the texture filtering and all that jazz (that stuff which is the selling point of the GOW collection). You know it better than I do probably but just thought I'd remind you.

Sorry for another post (its not related to topic) but Ahsan should change his signature, he is not making a good example by doing such kind of cheap things. That signature has my name and qoute in it. That sentence was written in particular context and Ahsan should not use it for fun. If mods are not going to follow the rules then how can we normal guys do.
