Inna lilla hi wa inna ilai rajeon

Sad news indeed. didn't know who she was until last night heard on some sh***y website that she passed away and then saw this thread and God i was shell shocked. God knows better and he knows it well. May her family cope with the situation they are into right now, losing someone SO special. My prayers for her.

May Allah bless her soul. In this media generated hysteria we as a nation forgot to analyse what went wrong in the first place with that girl.

To begin with she was under treatment of one of my senior colleagues at CMH Lahore ( A very fine human being and one of the best Neurophysicians of Pakistan Army).
She was a diagnosed case of epilepsy ( Mirgi), which is quite common and is NOT life threatening if one gets the medical treatment in time. In Arfa's case she had a prolonged seizure episode ( Status epilepticus) and her evacuation to the hospital was delayed ( for reasons unknown to me).

By the time she was put on ventilator her brain was already damaged beyond recovery. All this media hype with Bill Gates ""Special Interest" and plans to fly her to Dubai were nothing but a "Nauseating" attempt by our pathetic media to give a totally wrong picture of a talented girl who was on ventilator.

I am sure there are many other Nameless girls like Arfa who have died in the last many years but didn't get the attention she got. Blaming the government and others won't bring her back or prevent further preventable deaths of talented youth. It's time that we wake up and set our priorities.
A nation which spends less than 5 % of its total budget on health and education is destined to face such tragedies and loose talent like Arifa.

May Allah gave her place in heaven.......that was a great loss....and a big shame to our government too.... i feel too sad on that....no one from government official try to help or contact that while bill gates even try to help......shame on goverment.....on onside they hire a air ambulance for a person because he was a political man while Arffa kareem is a comman girl........

It's indeed a sad news. It's just not her. Many 'normal' people are dying and the news is never brought over the media. This is life. We should pray for every Muslims and as for the non-Muslims we can pray that Allah show them the 'true path'.

The point of the thread was just to bring the news. We shouldn't be fighting amongst ourselves.

Allah hamain namaz par qaaim rehnay kai taufeeq ataa farmaye aur hum sab kay gunnah muaaf karay. Ameen.
