well we have been using Loncin 2.5kv generator for three years , its good , if you do its maintenance it will run for next 3-4 years easily and maybe even more , like starting with petrol then convert into gas , checking engine oil every week , cleaning filter etc

We bought 2 generators 3.5KV @ 36K & 9KV 75k...Running good but in night it creates problems due to gas low pressure.,
I will recommend u to go for 3.5KV Generator of JD or Loncin as both can run on low gas pressure.,..
5KV cost 48K....

ok so now let me guide u about a proper generator.
B4 2010 i was using a Japan made Honda 5KVA Gen which i had since several years. It was pristine but and was all musle, power and quality but it generated a whole lot of more "noise" (it was like tractor lurking all the time) and it took a strength of 2x men to pull that lever to power it on.. it was frustrating when i woke up at night and did it 5-7-10 times to make it happen.
Then i decided to buy on more generator (best Chinese brand available), which can generate the same power at less noise.
Did extensive research from the main market in saddar. met with almost a dozen brands and product ranges.. all different prices... after the research i came to know that loncin was the "premium" brand with reputable but later on the research i came to know about the newest brand.. "Sanco".
Now this was some thing totally else.. this felt "JAPish".. the quality, atheistic, design and muscle.. also the price was 5-10 K higher than that of loncin but loncin was nothing in comparison.
I bargained with the dealer and got that baby (can't remember the exact price really)
I brought that baby home and i was amazed as this baby did was way quieter than my Honda and had a self (key) start option which made life a lot easier.
both generators sitting together looked nice.. Sanco didn't allow it self to look less honorable as it ran (and mashaALLAH still running) like a baws since then and it was money very well spent (i have been using it usually on gas and it's quality had not faded).. i remember just a week or two after i bought it i went to buy one more for my friend and the price was increased about 12Kish in that time!

i don't know about it's price for now or it's availability for you but if u can "Buy" it then go for it as it is the Best (Chinese) brand available but a class apart. (might be a bit expensive but the quality is really double so it's Worth it)
SANCO

it has an awsome AVR and a digital Volt meter attached.. mine remains at 220-222v
