Saw this local company selling ready boxes, but their specs are low and the price high. Probably charging for pre installed stuff. Search for Wetekpk on Google.

If you want to stream pirated stuff through Kodi app, then make sure that the box has Android version 5 or better because Kodi's most famous plugin(Exodus) for movies and shows doesn't support Android 4.4 anymore. Though there are still many other great addons that support 4.4.

Why not get a Chromecast? You can download stuff on your computer and stream it directly to your TV.

Guys I need some advice/ideas. I will soon be getting a large LED 'non-smart' [intentional] and want to make it 'smart'

One of the things I have in mind to do is connect my laptop to it which will act as HTPC [bluetooth keyboard & mouse]. Another thing I want to do is easy ability to connect smartphone to it. Now you would you think the other device I should get is Chromecast but not because it has very limited functionality compared to other device which goes by the name "Miracast"

Anyone know what this is and where to get it from in Pakistan? How much do they roughly cost here?

So i bought a Mi Box from AMT. It is my first experience with Android TV and i am primarily using Kodi on it and also sideloaded Chrome on it for browsing. Enjoying the experience so far. Got it for Rs. 9,350/- what other cheaper options are available that will run Kodi smoothly? I am looking to get this for someone else.

Can you please check if you're able to install and run PTCL's smart TV app on it? I'm thinking of buying the mi box as well. But Im not sure if non Android TV apps will work on it.
