I agree with you to some extent. You can not play pubg on a sd 820 phone as it lags and it is not playable. It lags on my s9+ exynos. I have to restart phone and game to get rid of lag. I play with my friends who are playing with me for a while. They will not switch to pc gaming though I can easily as why would they spend on pc for gaming as they are not that gaming enthusiasts. I left the pc gaming 4 years ago when i had i7 3770k and asrock z6 extreme motherboard. I think about making a pc gaming again but.....

Completely understand your concern, but would it not be better to put your life first instead of considering your friends in it?
PUBG is a horribly optimized game, I would not be surprised if that is the case on mobile phones, however.
I've seen plenty of mobile reviews having run the game at consistent 30fps on the phone. (Which is the max refreshrate for majority mobile screens)
Aren't your friends ok with spending small on consoles too? If not then
Better off saving money and building a regular PC or getting a console instead of such an overpriced hardware for one game.
Just my opinion though.
You are free to choose in the end.
