Same Here IMO Karachi opened it for Inspection (to see if product is same as declared in invoice), Repacked it ( I was charged 50 Rs as repacking charges) Got it without paying any duty.

Same here! I was so relieved when the guy said "50Rs dena", I immediately took out a pristine Rs.50 note and gave it to him with a huge smile on my face. Cuz, you know, I was expecting "5,000 Rs duty lulz".

Anyone who has used MCB Lite can tell me how refund works at Aliexpress? I have been refunded by Aliexpress Seller & Refund process is already shown as completed but 6 days have passed already & I haven't received the amount in my card. How long does it take to get the refund? will it reflect on my card automatically?

It usually takes 5-7 business days. And yes it adds to your account by itself.

Is it wise to get a graphics monitor that is 19 inch from AliExpress and get it delivered through standard shipping method. There is a sale going on for huion tablets and I have really been wanting to get one.

Problem is, idk what category of tax is applicable on it and I know there is no way of figuring it out beforehand. I do have a contact in customs (preventive Dept) but idk if that is enough to waive off the custom duty?

It's pretty expensive for such a mess that's duties and import and all. But the problem is I can't find it here anywhere. Graphics tablets are double their actual prices here in Pakistan market.

I'm really confused as to what to do about it. Last thing I want is a broken piece due to shipping or having to pay the equal amount of the product as a tax.

Any help would be highly appreciated.

Do you consider 1000-2500rs affordable? (in events you do get charged taxes).
If so, go for it man!

If its broke during shipment, ask seller for refund.

Rs. 2500 is completely acceptable. Im afraid of the infamous +100% tax I keep reading about on the internet. Plus the drawing monitor is around 50k.

at most you'll pay like 5-7k depending on the tax.
worst case scenario.
