Mubeen, a student of Grade VII, returned home on weekend from hostel of International Public School and committed suicide later in the night by hanging himself with rope tied around his neck.
Before taking his life, Mubeen wrote a letter to his parents, expressing his frustration over hostel life and treatment of teachers in the school. The student complained that he was penalized for speaking Urdu in the class and had to pay Rs 5 as fine. (seriously is this so bad that one commits suicide?)


In his letter, Mubeen wrote to his mother that she should not weep so long on his death. He also requested his parents not to send his sisters to hostel. Mubeen wrote that more details were written in his diary that was in his cupboard.

The deceased was laid to rest in his native village after funeral prayers.

Talking to media, Mubeen’s father said cruel school teachers had killed his son. He said that Mubeen was complaining about the school management for a long time and left this world before his parents could manage to arrange his migration to some other school.

According to MD Pakistan International School Ijaz Akbar, Mubeen never complained about the school management and nobody in the school misbehaved with him.

Kids these days need to slam the brakes and take it easy. Live each day.

But hell no, they wanna achieve everything in the blink of an eye and when that goes wrong their reaction is equally strong and morbid.

Life of teenage cute and sweet little boys and girls are ruined , why do the parents have to send there children to boarding schools ??? they are very much of cost ... All Pakistan nation will be ruined due to this acts..

Agreed. Last weekend I was conducting some interviews and there was an immense lack of focus/passion/dedication. Liveliness is considered weird now.

The rate of suicides and suicide attempts increased tremendously during last few years and reasons are so complexed that it seems difficult to stop this fashion. Dozens of love-triggered teenage suicides are being witnessed on daily basis. These kids want to make their own decisions and want to have their decisions implemented in seconds and they dont want to listen to others. They become totally blind and can hardly understand situation of their parents as such leaving them in lurch for their rest of life.

They should have had the courage to go to the principle and complain or tell his parents if he was facing bullying,or should have taught the bully a good lesson before doing what he did..

The children watch TV too much nowadays. They think its easy to take someone else's life , or just end their own when they have little problems. Children take wrong messages from movies and media.

And when the child was complaining about the school management ,why didn't the parents come and have a word with the principle, Now that he is dead they are just pointing fingers. This happens in every bloody case, parents are active when their children are either dead, or attempt suicide.

You sound like you really need to get out there a tad bit more.
Since when is Pakistan so known to listen to the deprived or to those who can't fend for themselves? After all why was a private school paying for the education of somebody who couldn't afford it? When did pvt schools even start taking such financially deprived students? And yet couldn't pay for just the uniform?

very sad indeed but individual cases, last year saw in news that a guy who was in jail took BA exams and earned a position that too individual feat. a blind girl topped css exams that too individual feat. dont go on making judgement about the masses based on the decisions of few mentally unstable individuals. besides empathize first

in that case I blame parents like you who breed horses for race rather their childrens, I mean leme ask a simple question, why was that kid being ignored by his parents when he talked to them at first??? leme give you a hypothetical conversation between them and thats what literaly happens in 98% cases.

Son: (confused with many reason but cant find a proper word) buss mujhay acha nahi lagta
Father : (thinking hmm he must be getting hard education... chalo acha hai is kay liyeah ) beta acha bura kuch nahi hota buss perhaye hoti hai.

Father : gives a child typical shutup call and end of conversation.

I mean did his parents even bother listening him correctly, are we being parents are only to HOLD them from every thing rather letting them think freely and give them an oppertunity to do what ever they want in our own supervision, what will happen they fall for once, twice but what will they learn is how to LIVE!!!!!!

I dont agree to what you guyz think but its we being parents ( if there are anyone else besides me) who are responsible for such acts its we who need to change the mentality rather calling our kids psycho.

The kid has every right to NOT GO if he is physically/psychologically abused each day.

@Wolfy: its not as simple as listening to every time a kid has a tantrum. Communication with kids/small siblings is not an easy thing sir ji.... Speaking from some pretty harsh personal xp its pretty tough coming home frm work and then lending an ear to someone elses frustrations... dunno we automatically assume everybody at home is living a good life, and when the fruits of our labors are rotten

effecient listening is the key here... something which should be inculcated in ourselves first as 'adults' then to our young lot.
