How is Toshiba as a HDD ? the specs looks good to me but i am skeptical as i have always used seagate or wd
i am looking for these two
Toshiba 4TB SATA 6Gb/s 7200rpm, 128MB Cache 3.5-Inch Internal Hard Drive (PH3400U-1I72)
Seagate SATA 6Gb/s 3.5-Inch 4TB Desktop HDD (ST4000DM000)

These hard drives are fast losing their value as decent storage options. SSDs have made them truly obsolete in such a short amount of time. Now if only the prices of the high volume SSDs were to drop to a reasonable level, bye bye to mechanical storage devices.

But unless that happens, mechanical devices are here to grind our systems to a halt.

well i cannot dish out 2600USD for 4TB SSD or 350 usd to 1TB SSD so i only have limited money and need to decide accordingly

From the feedback provided for both drives, its obvious Toshiba has the upper hand. If you can't find a 4TB hard drive at local shops, Toshiba seems like a better option between the 2.

Well both are almost equal. Though I would recommend looking at the SV35 line of Seagate HDDs. ($170 on Amazon and 19.1k at CZone)
