4k Netflix on nayatel

So I've recently switched to nayatels unlimited + bundle which supposedly gives 30+mb , now the problem is on some tv shows it streams straight to 2160p but most of the seasons it stays at 1080p, is it because my Netflix id is from UK and the local content available only streams at 4k

not all shows are in 4k - the shows which are will stream at 4k and is written on there info what quality it is .

lolz thanks for the reply but i was talking about the 4k shows that werent able to stream in 4k even with 30mbps bandwith ,it was nayatels horrible routing to those servers that was messed up had it changed and now it streams just fine in 4k

First of all i wanna say that nayatel's packages are pathetic. I have been trying to watch live streams from twitch but somehow during 12mbps speed the streams buffer a lot during peak hours. Its to the point that i can't watch them. Tried many a times to address this issue and never got satisfactory result. At this point i think nayatel is getting worse and their packages in 2018 are just stupendous when there are other ftth that are providing better packages.

Yes, if you have smart tv (samsung) amd watching netflix via TVs app, press info button on remote.

If watching via ps4 pro, press Option button on ds4 controller.

I didnt see any option via PC or mobile app though.

call them or mail their core department, tell them to put you on western optimization route for gamers that is transworld , your issues will be solved trust me on that one.
i have to agree with you on that one that their packages are pathetic and their support is getting worse day by day but its the only option we have right now. ptcl plain and simply sucks

That's weird. On my 12Mbps Nayatel, most 4K movies and TV shows stream at 1440p with HDR. It's not 4K, but better than 1080p.

I've got 7mb with their 30 Mbps for YouTube Netflix package and it streams fine at 4k now

it doesnt matter for the server but as 20mbps is more than enough for 4k content on netflix..

you should chk ur connection stability does it constantly stays on 20mbps+ or it drops and hikes

if it drops n hikes u wont get 2160p .

Connection was stable, the routing was just messed up I had it changed and it's full 4k stream within 10 seconds
