    Got normal speed at around 11 pm last night. Woke up at 8, out of curiosity rebooted my ONT again, guess what, speed went back to 3mb.:flame::flame:

    I have just made request for 50 mbps on ptcl GPON( currently using 25 mbps). Idiots downgraded me to 3 mbps. WTF!

    Are you testing it on wifi or lan. If on wifi, then turn it off the wifi functionality of your TES router or any other wifi router you are using, than share the results.

    You didn't include tax in the bill of static ip plus if one has opted for azadi package or whatever the crap they are offering, you are bound to pay extra 500 pkr for life. The total amount is PKR 3000+330 static ip + 500 thug charges which comes to 3830 w/o tax. Now to add tax which is around...

    PTCL GPON slow uploading!!

    I am also on 25 mbps GPON. After seeing your comment, I tried uploading a big file on one drive. I was simply blown away by the upload speed, it was freekin over 25 mbps. Try changing your dns to google may that would help.

    can anyone here tell me about PTCL upload speeds. I am getting same upload and download on my GPON connection. Weren't they offering upload which is 75% of download ??

    PTCL on GPON is the beast. Speeds are consistent and torrents works blazingly fast. Netflix and youtube and twitch streaming is a breeze. No downtime or disconnections. What more can one want in this third world country.
